“Lisa Gilbert is current generation of over 100 yrs of Gilbert farming. She has some of the best local corn through summer money can buy! Aside from the wonderful vegatables: tomatoes, squash, peppers, etc she has greenhouses working all year readying Spring flowers for customers..whether flats of plants or hanging baskets...all are grown with care and an experience passed down for generations in addition to her UCONN college education furthering her knowledge of horticulture and husbandry. Her family were also former dairy farmers. Today a half dozen or so are on her family's property as pets. It's fun to photo them beyond the trees using branches to frame them. When I first moved to this area, I found Lisa to be very personable and helpful. My family lives supporting local farmers as its a rarity to have farming families near you to make purchases from their stand and know where your all natural produce is grown NO GMO! All delicious and nutritious...”

“What a nice little Farm not far from exit 23 off of I-91. We make this trip a couple of times a year especially around Halloween. We usually stay at the Sheraton and make a weekend out of it. Other shopping and restaurants are nearby. We pick up the small Baking Pumpkins which are excellent for making pies and muffins. Parking is limited, but we never had an issue getting a spot. Other fruits and vegetables are available year round. Don't pass up this Farm if you are in the Area.”
