A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“When in season they have: Gooseberries, June berries, Service berries, currants, raspberries and blackberries. I was so impressed with the owners and their kindness to show us around, let us taste everything and tell us how to pick each item. They also cut and dried flowers for sale. They make fresh jellies from their produce for sale ($5 per jar). I can't say enough nice things about what a great time we had there and I will be back next year! We found this U-pick listed on the Bayfield Chamber of Commerce website showing orchards in season. At each farm you can pick up a really well made brochure showing a map and contact info along with orchard details for all the U-picks in Bayfield.”
“We loved visiting Good Earth Gardens! The blueberry plants were very healthy and we were able to quickly pick 15 pounds of blueberries! We chatted with the owner who was very knowledgeable! Definitely worth the quick trip from Bayfield!”
“Stopped over during AppleFest and we were charmed by the farm store and the kind owners. Dried lavender and yarrow, delicious blackberries, jams, arcade games and swag… we will be going back. Perfect fruit loop stop!”
“Best tasting blueberries in Bayfield. Chemical-free you-pick, or you can pick-up berries in the farm store. Highly recommend checking out Good Earth!”
“Big juicy blackberries today. Pastel hydrangeas to pick. Beautiful herb gardens. The full pallet of flowers hanging to dry. Acres of goodness!”
“I adore Good Earth Gardens! The property is pesticide free, the farm store charming and eclectic, and the owners are as sweet as can be.”
