“We had such a great road trip to Hatch! We picked up 200 pounds of chili along with a bunch of spices. One of the highlights was meeting Michelle and Pete, the owners of a local store and farm who’ve been doing this since the 80s. They were so welcoming—they took us out to the fields, let us walk through the farm, and even pick and eat chili straight off the vine.We also learned something interesting: the farmers don’t actually own the land, only the crops, and that’s the way it’s always been. They have been nice enough to invite us back up in October so we will be making another trip. Poor Melissa rubbed her eyes 👀 Cassidy and Melissa”

“If you go to Hatch for chiles of any size, shape, or type go to Grajeda farms. We bought some spices at the Hatch Chile Market location on Franklin and loved the place. After visiting every chile vedor shop in Hatch, we returned to Grajeda Farms going out of town on Hwy 26 (Hall St) to buy a bushel of green chiles and more spices. Did not even realize the two locations were connected until we got home and started looking at the labels on the spices. Both locations were our favorite vendors in all of Hatch. Personnel were super friendly, helpful, and the atmosphere was so comfortable.”

“Hatch is a very pretty place. I stopped at Grande Farms to buy chiles to give to friends in Minnesota. I've tried this variety of chile before, but I wanted to ask so my children could hear an explanation from someone who grows and sells chiles. However, the guy who was there today couldn't give us any information about their characteristics. I recommend the bag of medium-hot chiles for $25. None of the bags are marked with the degree of spiciness they provide; that would be a good idea for you as a customer.”

“I bought two bags of green chile and a bag of red chile powder. All of them have been perfect. The green chile was high quality, the guys roasting it did a great job and the prices were good and the customer service was great. I qualify my review in that I am a native born southern New Mexican with high standards and a taste for hot chile!”

“Honest Reviews Located in Hatch NM the green chile capital of the world. We've buying green and red chile from this family since they've opened. They are extremely hard workers, honest and offer the best green chile and red chile. They sell other thing as well but we mostly buy the chile. Today we bought chile, honey, and a molcajate.”

“Stopping here for many years, as we drive thru Hatch, always great inventory, well stocked, great prices, excellent n consistent quality.. add a few other vendors and they weren't as good... Store is clean, cashier always friendly...id give them 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“The chili powder was of very good quality, the owner was very friendly and had been operating in the area for 35 years, and the other gifts were also very nice.”

“The farm is spectacular and everyone was friendly and accommodating. We bought 40 lbs. of fresh chiles and pressure canned them. They have been so delicious!!”
