What you can pick

In August, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Utah, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Utah.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“One of the smaller stands on fruit highway but fantastic quality! I bought garlic last weekend and used it for canning pasta sauce - beautifully large and healthy cloves, not a single bad spot in 2 bags of garlic. I'm very pleased with their produce, and the girl working there was friendly and helpful. Will be returning later in the season for sure!”

“Such a nice place to get some great product. We got some peaches that were so good. They are very sweet, freestone and incredibly easy to peel. Very sweet plums, too. We also got corn, cantelope and watermelon, but we haven't tried them yet, but they look like they will be very good. Wonderfully delightful owners and staff.”

“I stopped by Grays Orchard to get peaches for canning and was greeted right away by an employee who helped me find the best peaches for canning and even offered samples of different varieties! The peaches were juicy and sweet. I will definitely be back!”

“One of our favorite spots on Utah's Fruit Way. Courteous, helpful and a fine selection of seasonal fruits and veggies. Thank you!”

“Very friendly and helpful young lady at the stand. Bought a pound of sweet cherries that were delicious. Highly recommended 😎”

“Their peaches canned great and tasted so good. Highly recommend their breed and great service too.”

“Super sweet ladies! The produce was all grown right there and it was delicious!”

“Never again! Two years ago I made a trip to Brigham City just for some peaches, I bought 4 boxes from Gray's and they were good. I was passing through again this year (2025) so I stopped and bought two boxes of the Early Elberta peaches, two boxes of the Hales, and a box of Angelus (according to Google the Angelus should be a large size, no way in hell these are large). The Early peaches were good, some had a few bad spots. The Hales are mostly trash (I had to throw out 1/4 of one box just from rotten fruit). The exterior looks good but the interior is garbage, the knife even sliced right through the slimy gray pit on many of them. I've included photos of the quality I received from the Hales variety, no less than 1/4 of the product is waste just from being rotten ($8 per box in the trash). So if you're looking for peaches I would avoid this place. I probably would have had better luck buying from the people selling on the street in my town. Take my advice, weight what you buy before you start prepping it. Then weigh all the waste that is rotten and you have to throw out. PAY BY CREDIT CARD so you can dispute part of the charge because you didn't receive what you had paid for (edible fruit). Credit card companies will issue you a refund with enough proof to back up your claim and take the money back from the merchant.”
