Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oregon.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“My partner and I were looking for a cool new pumpkin patch to check out on our way back from the coast and discovered this place along the way through Internet searches. We're happy we ended up stopping by over here. As soon as you drive into the farm, the autumn vibes are very strong, it's small but well-decorated, cute and perfect for the season. The workers here are friendly, happy to explain what they offer at Greengable Gardens. They have an adorable corn maze which is a pretty decent size and comes with a little scavenger hunt, after which you can get a free gourd. Possibly the best thing about this particular patch is the variety of pumpkins you could possibly find. I don't often see odd white or grey pumpkins, but you can get some decent-sized and shaped ones, perfect for some spooky carving. It's a cool place to check out during the fall season, and if we end up in Philomath again during this time of year, we'd definitely come back. I would recommend it to anyone stopping by.”

“New in the area, we searched for a pumpkin patch and we meet extremely impressed with varieties, quality, service, and price! Even more exotic pumpkins are the same base price! Also, the owner is a florist so the gift shop is amazing! Check out the dress! Add a very clean bathroom (always important) adherence to COVID guidelines and FREE cookies ….not just any cookies, these were high end Ina Garten ginger cookies…and we have a new place for our traditional pumpkin gathering. Hey it’s a short trip to Gathering Together Farms, another amazing stop. WE WILL CONE BACK for Christmas wreaths in late November!”

“My flowers were the highlight of my wedding. I really wanted to have lavender (the plant) worked into my bouquet in addition to roses and dahlias. I was able to share ideas with the florist based off of pictures of what I would like to have. One of my request was to have tiny bouquets made for all of my flower girls ranging from age 10-1 (which they LOVED). On the day of my wedding, I was blown away by how beautiful and fresh the flowers were. I was also able to dry my bouquet which looks incredible. This florist is affordable and so easy to work with.”

“My partner and I discovered this beautiful little pumpkin patch three years ago and have made a point to return every year! Its gorgeous for pictures, we recreate one everytime in their pumpkin carriage. The maze is classic fun and the prices for pumpkins and flowers are unbeatable! Highly recommend for family fun or a date idea!”

“We had to pivot plans when the first pumpkin patch we tried was closed, and I'm SO glad we did. This will be our new fall go-to! The corn maze, the picnic area, the beautiful flower garden, and the STUNNING decorations and gift shop will bring us back every year. Absolutely lovely!”

“This is my second time going to Green Gables for their pumpkin patch. I really appreciate the slower pace and the fact that it's not crazy busy. The owners are very friendly and I love all decorations inside. They have truly done a great job.”

“This place is a hidden treasure! Small, but full of so many beautiful plants and products. Come here for floral arrangements and unique gifts year round. Find the most unique pumpkins here in the fall. Reasonable prices.”

“If i could rate this place 100 stars. I would, but this place is amazing, family-friendly atmosphere, amazing pumpkins, and fun kid and adult corn maze! And the doughnuts are to die for!!!”
