Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“We've been coming to Gro-Moore Farms every Father's Day since our kids were little, and it's become one of our favorite family traditions. The strawberries are hands-down the best around, and the experience is always wonderful. The fields are well maintained, the staff is friendly, and even when it's busy, it never feels overcrowded. This year was extra special with a food truck on site, which made our visit even more fun. It's the perfect way to spend a summer day with family while supporting a great local farm. We're already looking forward to coming back next Father's Day!”
“Wonderful for strawberry picking!”
“Omg.. the best strawberries ever!”
“Way too many rotten berries.”
