Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Connecticut.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Visiting this farm for the first time was a nice experience that left me eager to return; it has quickly become my go-to destination. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The farm's thoughtful design, with a corn maze perfectly tailored for younger kids, made it an ideal family outing. The farm animals were a definite highlight – they added a charming touch to the overall atmosphere. I can't wait to return for more memorable visits to this wonderful farm.”

“Hidden gem! I can’t say enough good things about this little farm. The one I grew up going to is no longer around, so I wanted to find a farm where I can bring my family to, for years to come. I found it! It’s beautiful there, great selection of pumpkins with a real pumpkin patch, not overly busy, animals to look at and free hayrides. The family who owns it is very sweet and helpful too. It was worth the 45min drive!”

“This is my favorite spot for pumpkins, easy going hayrides, and small barn area with various animals. Great for small children and the absolute best prices for pumpkins! The corn maze is small, but very nicely laid out with various trivia questions.”

“Visited in fall 2022, so much fun at this small farm, beautiful view of the surrounding hills! We did the corn maze for $2 per person, dog friendly!! Also loved seeing the animals, pumpkin patch was very small, and not too many options”

“My first time here and it's a wonderful place for a toddler to "find their pumpkin"! Animals, a hay ride and the corn maze makes it a perfect place to visit! Reasonably priced and you can't beat the beautiful ride to get there!”

“A Litchfield County gem that’s family owned with plenty for kiddos with animals, hayrides, corn maze, and pumpkin patch. Local honey, lavender, and baked goods for sale. A requisite of a fall activity.”

“Nice family farm, has a few animals. Free admission with pumpkins at a cheap price. There weren’t many pumpkins, however, probably because its the 31st. They have a corn maze with a nice view.”
