Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Florida.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Great place to celebrate fall! My grandkids didn’t want to leave. Plenty of slides, lots of pumpkins in different sizes for all ages. Pony and horse rides! Test your casting skills was the favorite for my grand children, my favorite was the relaxing hayride that took you through the woods of old Florida and of course, the corn maze which, takes you through a winding walk into an overgrown field of green stalks with beautiful yellow blooms. The perfectly positioned hay bale makes a terrific photo spot. Jimmy Bears BBQ was there to fill your tank with endless cups of sweet tea and BBQ that will tickle anyone’s taste.”

“We had such a great time at Hastings Ranch & Farm! The whole place has a warm, family-friendly vibe that makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The pumpkin patch was beautiful, and there were so many cute spots for photos. The kids had a blast with the activities, and we loved how relaxed and organized everything felt. You can tell the people who run it really care — the staff was kind, the farm was clean, and the pumpkins were perfect. It ended up being one of our favorite fall outings. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“We had the best day! So much to do and very family friendly! Our son loved digging in the corn box, riding in the barrels, pony rides and hay rides. My only suggestion is they need more food options/ vendors and should also publish the price of $12 per person before entering or on their Facebook page.”

“Beautiful farm to celebrate the fall festival with the family. There are so many things to do: horse riding, live music, bounce house, jump pillows, pet zoo, corn maze and more. All surrounded by oak trees and a gorgeous view of the lake. We had a blast and hope to come again soon.”

“Hastings Ranch was st up so beautifully and creatively. Their fall festival is well worth spending a day at. There are so many fun things for the kids and family to do. Great food, music and photo ops. You can do some gift shopping there as well from local artisans.”

“Our family had a wonderful time at the fall festival. The Hastings family/ staff were so welcoming and kind. We look forward to returning.”

“It's a beautiful property by a lake. open air event space, it has a ceremony area close to the water and amazing sunsets for photos.”

“I had a great experience visiting in November. There are plenty of places to take photos with props set up. I enjoyed walking around the pumpkin patch area and taking photos at all the photo spots.I enjoyed walking around in the corn maze. It is a small maze but perfect size if you have kids. I really enjoyed seeing the different animals on the farm. They had an area where kids can ride horses and big inflatable slides for the kids. My favorite part was definitely the animals and the hay ride. I definitely feel they can expand more on some things to make it even better. I would love to see more food vendors and more live music. I definitely will come back and visit. Just fyi there is plenty of parking and several staff directing everyone to their spot.”
