“We loved it.. My husbands coworker gave us the info on this hidden gem. Just a short drive from the tri cities, this gorgeous U-pick farm and orchard was better than I could imagine, starting with the greeting from the owner. He drove up in a golf cart and introduced himself, then happily answered all my questions. Next, he escorted my 14yr and myself by cart to the picking area with a small tour of his other u-pick garden and orchard areas. We brought our own bags, but there were extras available if u don't. After being dropped off, we picked as many of both Bing and Rainier cherries as we wanted. Super delicious! So sweet and yummy. When we had enough, we walked back to the shed, paid, and said our goodbyes. I will never again go to the store for the fruit and veggies I can buy here.!!”
“Such an interested place for self-shopping. The owner is really nice, and friendly; he guides us around his gardens to choose the best fruit in the farm. Everything is fresh from garden, just make sure that you know which products of each season or you may follow the garden’s fan page. At the counter, there is an “advanced” checkout system which is really cute.”
“75°-80° sunny day (June) Family 89yr old farmer/owner and Daughter/Granddaughter gave us a golf cart ride to “his favorite” tree for our Bing cherry pickin’! Also picked Rainer cherries. Great atmosphere. Cash only. Family run. Misc produce also available for purchase. Dogs welcome (I think). Pick-n-eat.”
“Nice off-the-beaten-path U Pick. We went early July, only cherries were ready. They said by August the full garden will be ready. Some pre-picked items are available. Cash or Venmo only; no card accepted. Porta potty is nearby, but no full bathroom. Picnic table available and lots of grass to play on.”
“We traveled from Dallas, TX to visit the Hatch Patch again! We love Farmer Paul and his farm! We came for the Asian pears and they didn’t disappoint! There are still plenty of fruit on the trees! Thanks for sharing your wonderful orchard with us! See you again soon!”
