Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Washington.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We came today for cherry picking. The orchird owner was very awesome and although today was the last day, there were plenty of cherries to pick. We got some yellow (Rainier?) cherries and black cherries. Their fruits are organic and they don't use harmful pesticides, so we ate some cherries on spot :D”
“Small family run farm, plenty of cherries to pick and theres pink, dark and pie cherries 🍒”
“Great fruit , loved the tomatoes”
“small orchard, cherries were small and many are perished”
