Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Tennessee.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

108 reviews on file · showing 8 visitor notes from the listing data.

“Thanks to all the smiles and Great customer service. Caroline and Emma were knowledgeable and attentive. We enjoyed this experience. I would like to call it the strawberry oasis with a lot to offer. It’s so peaceful and you get lost in the scenery and all your stress goes away. Picking strawberries was so fun and memorable for my family. The play ground my kids definitely enjoyed. Everything was neat and organized. Shopping was fun. Very reasonable prices. Oh thanks again Caroline for picking me a green tomato it was delicious. I will definitely return. 🩷😇”

“This place is so cool!!! The strawberries are so good, it's great that you can pick them yourself because you can choose the reddest ones. Really good pricing too, I almost filled my basket up and it was only 10 bucks.”

“Had a wonderful time at Head's Farm today. Abby was amazing. It was my first time to visit. So many things to choose from. Great stuff for gifts to. I'll definitely be going back for more.”

“Always have a great time at the farm, no matter if it is strawberry season, mid summer flowers, or my favorite, fall, with pumpkins and mums. You can’t go wrong with a stop!!!”

“10/10 local gem...as a plant nursery...immaculate, as a grocery store...immaculate, and the new boutique addition sells kitsch and judy blue and all the cute things. 🥰”

“Lovely shop in the back with a good selection of fresh produce. Will definitely be stopping here more often.”

“Away from city but peaceful and neat place. Went towards the end of the strawberry season for picking but, we were the only ones.. so had the whole place to ourselves.. very tasty collection and delicious strawberries.. They have June / July for corn picking..”

“Wish I had a chance to go but unfortunately they never returned my phone calls. The farm is 45 minutes away, I did not want to drive without knowing current prices and having a few questions answered. They are lacking in customer service. I will definitely check out other farms in the area instead.”
