Walking in is like stepping into a technicolor dream. You’ve got local musicians setting the vibe, the smell of fresh roasted chilies dancing through the air, and a community spirit thicker than a jar of local mesquite honey. It is a total sight to see—the energy is electric, the dogs are adorable, and the local love is real. 🍯🌵 And the food? Oh, the food. From flaky, buttery pastries that will make you weep to breakfast burritos that deserve their own fan club, it’s a literal feast. “My favorite Sunday breakfast spot in Tucson. Large variety of local vendors and local farmers selling produce, meats, prepared foods, honey, olive oil, fresh made pasta (see pic below) and much more. The best burritos and other Mexican food is at a stand called Del Cielo. The tortillas are homemade. Some weekends, a lady is at the stand making the tortillas fresh. If they have extras they will sell them by the dozen. Their fresh squeezed OJ is hard to find but delicious. The best churros in Tucson (and maybe all of the southwest) are Churros Inzunza, found in the middle of the market. They are fresh made and perfectly crunchy on the exterior and soft on the inside. I’m a churro fiend, not a connoisseur but they are better than most churros I’ve had in Spain or Mexico. Definitely a Sunday must stop for groceries or for breakfast.”

“The Heirloom Farmers Market at Rillito Park is a Tucson favorite for fresh produce, artisan goods, and local flavor. Don’t miss Holy Focaccia’s chocolate-pistachio cookie or their incredible focaccia breakfast sandwich. Hands down the best in the market! It was a panini-pressed focaccia layered with egg, cheese, peppers, and pesto — it’s the kind of breakfast you’ll be thinking about all week. Vendors like Better Than Provisions offer guilt-free 5-nut granola, while Togetherness Fire Cider delivers a wellness boost with softened flavors in every sip. With rotating food trucks, live music, and bike access via The Loop, this Sunday market is the perfect mix of shopping, eating, and community.”

“Heirloom promotes farmer’s markets in a number of locations around Tucson but Rillito Pk is the largest. We go there every Sunday morning for fresh vegetables, bread, and other delectables. It’s very well organized. Vendors are usually in the same spot every week. There is a variety of cuisines available from Ukrainian pierogi, to burritos, to freshly baked pizza ready to enjoy. In the center there are tables where we sit to eat and watch some local musicians perform. A very enjoyable market and a great way to gather farm fresh produce.”

“Hands down, best farmers market in AZ. Their fresh roasted green chili’s, garlic, tomatoes are incredible. Went home and made some hot spicy vegan meatball soup. Delicious! Lots of organic everything and you have to eat their yummy food locals put together. This Indian flat tortillas with the world on it. Amazing! Organic dog shampoo! Organic goats milk lotion. Too much to name! A blast and the music was just delightful. Bring your pets! Kids hands on crafts!! Everything for everyone.”

“My first time to this market and it is the best one in the area! Luckily I only live a few miles away but if I lived further I would definitely drive a dissuade to be here. Make sure you come hungry because there's phenomenal food here! Pretty much anything and everything that you can imagine! One of the better farmers markets in the country that I've been to! You will not be disappointed! If it's hot bring your cooler!”

“Been coming here since I was a kid with my Dad so this Farmer's Market is especially important to me ❤️ Delicious foods, decent produce for not having an indoor area for produce. Absolutely obsessed with the spinach and cheese pitas near the end, on the right, of the first corridor under #3.”

“Almost all farmer’s markets have fruits and veggies to buy. This farmer’s market has none. It’s just food or handmade products. Which is cool too. But that’s not a farmer’s market lol. I do love buying the handmade products, and trying the food. Just wish they offered fruits/veggies. They also don’t allow dogs, I brought a small dog and a guy came up to me and told me dogs aren’t allowed. Usually farmer’s markets allow leashed dogs.”
