Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Outstanding Venue and Experience — Hidden Trails Corn Maze, West Salem We brought our Rising Starr K9 Alumni Group to Hidden Trails Corn Maze this weekend, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, their team was organized, professional, and welcoming — the kind of staff that clearly cares about both people and animals. We had 10 dogs and 13 handlers — all graduates of my Canine Good Citizen, Urban CGC, and Community CGC programs — and the atmosphere couldn’t have been better. Hidden Trails provided the perfect mix of family fun, open space, and structure. The mazes gave us room to move as a group, the grounds were spotless, and every staff member we met was friendly and accommodating. I’ll be honest — I had reservations about bringing that many dogs into a public setting full of kids, laughter, and distractions. But the layout of Hidden Trails made it easy to navigate, and once we were in the maze, our group had plenty of space to work. Every single dog performed with confidence and control, which says a lot about both the training and the environment. Events like this don’t just happen by luck — they require teamwork, leadership, and a venue that supports structure. Hidden Trails delivered on all counts. It was a great test of real-world obedience and calm under pressure, and the result was one of the most successful alumni outings we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a family-friendly destination, or a location that truly welcomes dogs and well-mannered owners, Hidden Trails Corn Maze is top-notch. I can’t thank their staff enough for hosting such a positive experience for our group and our dogs. 🎯 La Crosse • West Salem • Coulee Region 🎖 Rising Starr K9 — Real Training. Real Results. No B.S.”

“This place was a breath of fresh air. Our first time going here but have gone to other corn mazes and fall festival places in the past and this one by far is one of the best. Fair priced, no price gouging! Love that we had a bunch of outdoor games and activities to do and the corn maze was just incredible. Love the little hide and seek features where in the corn maze you find special places within the corn maze were you keep a punch card and punch certain sections to receive coupons at surrounding vendors! Going to use my $5 off coupon to north country steak buffet next month!”

“This was my first time to a corn maze. Went with my son, daught in law and grandchildren. My son guided us thru 2 of the mazes and we hunted for footprints (part of a game). Just an amazing setting. The grandkids loved the play area, wide variety of activities for them to do. Good for all ages. Loads od gourds, pumpkins etc. that you could purchase.”

“As a parent of a special needs adult, every year we look forward to the LaCrosse Parks and Rec group organizing a trip here. He enjoys the communion with fellow participants and the staff is always helpful and friendly. As Fall approaches, he can't wait until he can go again. Thank you for this wonderful outdoor experience.”

“Great place for family friendly fun. $12 for the corn maze and play area. There’s actually four corn mazes to go through and you get punch cards for coupons as well as a game! The corn maze was absolutely insane! I had so much fun walking through it and getting turned around and lost.”

“I know this has been around for 20+ years, but this still feels like the perfect hidden gem! It's not super busy in the times we have gone. The kids love the fun park, the hayride and the corn mazes! Get the season pass because you will want to come back!”

“Did not do the corn maze as the temperature on October 3rd was 89°! So instead filled a cart with beautiful blooming mums, pumpkins, gourds, and decor! Super affordable and definitely worth the stop!”

“Great field trip. Age appropriate maze and wagon ride. The play area was very impressive. And PUMPKINS/gourds. Literally any kind you could think of as well as many you've probably never imagined, and at low cost! Loved it!”
