What you can pick
In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Oklahoma, not a guarantee for this exact farm.
Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oklahoma.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Beautiful family owned farm! Looking forward to delicious corn!”
“Website says they are open today (it's starting to rain so why not go by ) so I went & found the place the gate was open but couldn't find anyone so I rang the doorbell (I could hear the dogs barking inside) waited & waited & waited but no one came to the door!!! If your not going to be open or not answer the door then close the gate & put a sing up!!! I WON'T BE WASTING MY TIME GOING BACK THERE!!! P.S. I know something you don't I had planned on spending a LOT of money with you over the next week !!! So I will continue to go into Sand Springs & spend my money there.”
