Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in AL.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We made the short drive put this afternoon to see what was available today. The parking lot was full but we found a space quickly. We went today just to take a break and to pick up some Amish butter. We grabbed a large 2 lb pack from the cooler. We also picked out fresh made strawberry and peach hand pies. Of course we got a small container of fresh peaches to bring home with us too. The people who own it were friendly as always. We talked about the fruit trees we had bought there and planted in our yard a few months ago. They are all doing great! All in all it was a short trip today but it made for a nice break and I know we'll head back that way soon!”

“Great place to visit and pick some of your favorite fruit and veggies. Bob and Mary are great folks. Mary took us on a tour. The place is so peaceful and quiet. It would be easy to sit and stay for a while. Lots of good old homemade stuff for sale. It made for an enjoyable day. Take the kids. It will make a memory for the family.”

“Nice place to visit. They have fruit trees, flowers, grapes, Muscadines and so much more! A lady named Frankie assisted me and discussed how to properly care for the plants I bought. She was patient and made sure I understood the care procedures. Then she talked me into buying a fried peach pie which was incredible!”

“Absolutely beautiful farm, amazing experience. Really loved the variety of homemade things they sell.. Jams, breads, ciders, honey, pickled items, prepicked fruits/vegetables, and more!!The option to go through and pick them yourself is great too, really fun family experience. We will be back!”

“Went there to buy trees on Feb 8. Bought more than we planned on plus some blueberry bushes. Brian was outstanding helping us pick plants and explaining how to keep them healthy. Great service and we will go back.”

“Don't buy the honey!!! It's like they diluted it with 50% water... very runny, yuck. I agree with other reviewers that the prices were high for a farm setting. About 2 times what you would pay at the grocery store for pre-packaged foods. The kid playground was really cute though. I do not know prices of you-pick, I would call first. The trees seemed reasonably priced at 20 dollars average each for apple trees, etc.”

“I was extremely disappointed with our visit. The blue berries and apples were picked out even though their facebook page claimed to have plenty for the weekend. The apples left on the tree were either green or rotted. We let the kids pick a few green apples just so they could say they went apple picking for the first time. They charged us $10 for the apples. By the time we picked a few peaches, they were picked out as well. They charged $14 for the peaches. Even when we arrived they didn't tell us that things were picked out but sent us to discover that for ourselves. When I spoke with the owner about how far we had traveled, and my dissappointed with the visit, he could not have cared less. Overall it was just a bad experience.”
