Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Very nice little family-operated orchard. Sadly this year they were low on pick-your-own apples due to poor conditions earlier in the spring (such are the realities of agriculture), but I was impressed by the variety that they packed into their orchard. There's a good play area for the kids, some pumpkins to choose from, and an area with some cute farm animals that are obviously well cared for. It was $10 for an adult wristband to access all of this, and I think it would be worth it to bring kiddos for some quality screen-free entertainment! There was also a storefront area with baked goods, jams, maple syrup, etc, and an area to order hot apple cider. We skipped out on the cider due to there being a bit of a crowd, but the apple coffeecake we brought home was delicious, and I picked some sunflowers out front for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend coming here as part of your family fall itinerary!”

“Honey Creek Orchard is my favorite fall spot! The orchard is beautiful and well cared for, the apples are always fresh, and there’s a great variety of flavors to choose from. Last year they had a pumpkin patch too which was good to get into the halloween spirit! They have the cutest little Western town that is fun to see all the animals(there's a baby goat this year which is adorable). Lots of products to choose from in the shop, but the apple cider doughnuts and pie are my favorite! Also a playground and corn silo for kids to play. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, and you can tell they put a lot of pride and love into what they do. Honey Creek Orchard is a must-visit every year(or weekend)! 🍎”

“Stopped by for what we thought would be a quick 30min. 4 hours later we departed. There was so many cool things to see from an old west village with animals (can’t feed or pet them- bummer), to pumpkins (already picked, you just grab from a pre picked patch) and the most diverse apple selection we have ever seen (& tasted)! There was a play ground, hills with tunnels, huge slide built into a hill, basket ball games built with farm equipment, old tractors to explore, and most importantly a silo filled with corn and toys which was our daughters favorite. Grabbed some some tasty donuts on the way out (not hot, so we warmed up at home), and hot cider. No complaints.”

“We had such a fantastic time with our family! My kiddos loved everything about the farm! Everything was so clean and the ownership is so kind, thoughtful and informative. Any questions we had were answered immediately. They went above and beyond. I felt much more welcome than at many of the larger fall destinations. On top of the typical fall fun, getting to interact and pet the animals was a huge hit for my little ones. We will most definitely be headed back.”

“Amazing experience! We went on a tuesday, and had a blast! Great price for what you get. Play area recommend for all ages, My husband and I had fun with our 2 year old. Adorable animals, very clean orchard, and play areas. We spent about 2.5 hours here. Heads up, slides are fast, and when playing in the corn area please note that you will most likely find corn for the next few hours after leaving.”

“Such a cool place with so much for the kids to do. There is a super cool playground, yard games and a really cool zoo area with goats, pigs, etc. The kids didn't want to leave. Don't get me wrong, the apple selection is great and the cider and cider donuts were amazing, but being able to entertain the kids for an entire afternoon was the true highlight.”

“Fabulous experience with a such a vast variety of apples. The team were super informative and welcoming. Lovely and juicy apples. Lots of activities for kids, goats, chickens, mini cows, emus, a greylag(?) or pilgrim goose (not the common Canadian geese we see in CA)!!! A must activity!”
