“My family has been coming here for years. And this past Saturday I was able to bring my mother in law and husband for their first time and they loved the experience. All the food was so fresh, thoughtfully put together and meticulous. The tea was delicious and always hot, our cups were never empty. If you have a chance to join in the high tea, please do yourself a favor and treat yourself and loved ones. It’s an experience that’ll leave and imprint.”
“Hurd Orchard luncheons are a life experience that everyone should at least come to once in their life time. The love and energy that is put into this sacred fruit producing land is almost tangible. This was the best meal I have ate all year and the atmosphere has recharged my soul. Cheers to Sue, Amy and the whole team for what you bring to the tables here at the farm and what you share with the food insecure in your area. 🌸”
“Went to their Mothers Day Tea today. This was an experience unlike anything you can find anywhere else. The Tea was held in a rustic barn that was decorated with massive sprays of flowers picked on the property and expertly arranged. The food was appropriate for a British high tea, with 4 courses that included about a dozen different items. Everything was marvelous! See the pictures that accompany this review.”
“Had a sisters luncheon at Hurd Orchard today...I believe it was called the "strawberry social". It was beautiful, as are all of Hurd's events with beautiful flowers everywhere. I love these lunches in the gorgeous old barn. The food is always delicious and stories about the history of the orchard are folksy and informative. Wonderful experience. And don't forget to visit their beautiful gift shop!”
“Their luncheons are a must-do! The ambience, flower arrangements, food, and farm talk are lovely. I have had two luncheons now and both were fantastic. The farmhouse has been in the Hurd Family since the early 1800s! They have over 70 varieties of apples and offer ample jams/jellies and baked goods in their gift shop. Make it a priority if you haven’t had a lunch here yet.”
“LOVE this place ! The atmosphere was amazing and the flowers were absolutely beautiful! We had delicious apple cider, chicken pot pie and apple pie! Picking apples was so much fun too!”
