What you can pick

In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Wisconsin, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Payment notes on file: Discover, Mastercard, VISA. Cash still helps at smaller stands.

What visitors say

488 reviews on file · showing 8 visitor notes from the listing data.

“Probably the biggest selection of ciders I have ever seen. Yet alone seen any company all produce. There is defiently a cider here for everyone. Cute little space, offering glasses, flights, bottles, etc. No hot food, but offer small snacks. Great and big outdoor space. Parking lot in back and on the side, plus some street parking. Nice staff. Overall, liked their ciders and the uniqueness of each like the oak or lavender. Also loved the cherry cider! I would go back, these pack a punch though, so be prepared!”

“8/22/25 - this place is a HIDDEN GEM in the middle of the woods. A good variety of ciders to choose from and in the small store, each type has a detailed description of the flavor profile. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend a flight for anybody visiting for the first time. We really enjoyed both of our flights and plan to make the trip up whenever we visit Door County again (hopefully soon)!”

“Great place to spend time while traveling across, such a warmth place. They also have cheese which many of our friends liked it. This place was on the way while we were roaming around the peninsula park, peaceful place to visit. Plan your parking in road side, when we went it was heavily raining and there were many people in the place, so we had to park road side. Still a quite place to experience the drink they offer.”

“It had been a few years since I stopped in, and was pleasantly surprised by their improvements to the space and cider offerings…it was always very good but now it’s even better with more space for tastings and cider flavors on tap. There is such a great variety! We enjoyed the four small-batch ciders in our flight. Can’t wait to come back and build a charcuterie picnic to take with our next bottle of cider!”

“The Best ciders ever!!! Great variety, awesome flavors, and friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and swing on by if you're visiting Door county! Nice merch, cool posters, and they sell tin tackers too!”

“First time at Island Orchard Cider. We ordered a "First Timer's" flight of ciders and left with 6 bottles. Excellent selection of ciders and vinegars. The goat cheese curds were fantastic as well.”

“A small group of us stopped at this cidery tucked away in a little town in northern Door County. They offer a wide variety of ciders in styles ranging from sweet to dry, still to effervescent. This working tap room also has bottles to go for purchase. The parking lot is small, but we found a place. There is also a small outdoor seating area for warm weather. It was fairly quiet they day we stopped, but summer months at peak season, I'd expect this place to be packed!!”

“Really nice cidery with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a great atmosphere. There's a large amount of ciders available, so definitely recommend their pre-selected flights or you can create your own. Some of the ciders were a miss for us, but overall, we enjoyed the cider and the chill atmosphere.”
