A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Ohio.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.

“Our group from work had a great afternoon today at Jackson Family Farm. Coworkers and their families enjoyed themselves, beginning with the kind gentleman directing us in the parking area. The food was terrific, particularly the apple dumpling and mega nachos! The farm was very neat, well-kept, and had a huge variety of things to do. From petting goats, to climbing up hay bales and down slides, to zip lines and bouncing pad, to the hay ride and shooting pumpkins, we had a full day. Lookin forward to coming back again.”

“We have been coming to Jackson Family Farm for a few years now with my family and we always have a good time. If you're reading reviews trying to decide whether to go or not, just go. My kids both adore the hay ride, hay tower, meeting the cows and this year the zipline was a hit! BTW. The pumpkin cannon shoots 465 meters so that's pretty neat”

“This is a great family tradition for my family. It started as a small functions and just keeps gaining traction each year getting bigger and better. My twin girls love the bounce pads, corn barn and the pumpkin launches. We will be back again next year to start the fall with the Jacksons my 9yo daughter may even work there one day.”

“Oct 2025 This family friendly farm festival definitely has been well planned out especially with having it on someone’s property. Props to the owners with such a beautiful property. A great way for them to bring in some extra money during the season too. I took a star away because I do believe charging each person $17 is a little pricey. Adults maybe should be a little less with not having much to do as it’s mainly for children & I do think maybe a cheaper rate for kids under 5. I will say i have not been to a pumpkin patch where you get to make animal food, so I thought that was a neat and a different touch. Then you could get off the hayride and feed the cows. My daughter and I loved the animals they had, especially the cute little pigs. Some other animals you get to see are goats, baby chicks, a chicken, plenty of cows, a rabbit, and ponys. My daughter was on the hunt to find a sheep. There is a concession area with lots of options and fun fall treats and goodies. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy & food was hot and tasted good. I would suggest providing plates or maybe little baskets to help carry food over to the tables for families who come in groups. The hayride was actually quite long and again the drop off to feed the cows was a nice touch and different. There is a small play set, three little play houses, two ziplines(which be careful, many kids would slam against the hay), a big pumpkin bounce pad, a little apple picking area (which was a clever and cute idea), a huge area of corn kernels to play in, tunnel slides, and little tractors to ride on. There are many cute photo ops such as the photo cut outs, the pumpkin arch, and the beautiful wildflowers and sunflowers. The scenery here is honestly beautiful and you can leave with some cute photos. The staff were all so happy, friendly, and welcoming to all. The line did take a little while as we did arrive right before opening and there was a bunch of groups, but be mindful you will need to fill out a waiver for each person in your group before you can enter. There are porter potty’s that were well cleaned and spacious. Oh, also there is bouquets you can make starting out at $6. I found out about this place on Facebook and am glad to have checked this out. My family and I love finding new pumpkin patches and festivities for the season and this place was definitely a fun day to enjoy.”

“I haven’t seen Zinnias and Cosmos in a long time. The smell of sweet citrus and wild butterflies tickles my nose. (In a refreshing kind of way) I brought my niece along and her eyes flutter in awe. She’s turning two and is discovering her sense of sight and smell. The flowers are bright in color; neon orange, yellow, green and pink. And plenty of gold butterflies that ignite excitement for her. The entrance isn’t too hard to find. There is signage for parking and an info booth right next to it. I didn’t see anyone behind the booth but no biggie! The information is simple and easy to read. The booth displays hand sanitizer, bug spray and a cash box. We brought our own vase but cups are made available if you forgot to bring your own. They also supply clippers which is nice. We slip our money in the cash box (honor system), and wander off to the field to pick flowers. Overall, the u-pick experience is wonderful for us. And the drive is not too too far. It’s family friendly and the field is pretty. We like this place! Thank you to whomever decided to make this corner piece of land pop up with flowers.”

“It's a small farm running a two day operation September through October that is a fun place for parents to take little ones under 11 years to see a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and have the opportunity to feed farm animals. The 40 foot jumping pad was a nice touch, and my little girl loved the interaction. This is not so much a teens spot honestly but overall an entire family should enjoy it.”
