Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Nebraska.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“It was a great place to take our kids. It was nice to not have to fight a bunch of people for everything. The pumpkins were a great quality. The animals were fun to pet. The games are fun to play. This was our second year coming here, and we will be back next year! We are hoping this year we can make it to the Christmas events.”

“Took my preschool students here for a field trip last year and it was perfect. Plenty of fun things to play on and the parents appreciated that the whole area is in view to keep track of the kids. Each child picked out a pumpkin that was just the right size for them to carry.”

“We had the best time there. It is very kid friendly. The pumpkins are "huge" as our 4 year old grandson kept saying. There is something for everyone to do from the bounce pad to the shopping in the red barn. Thanks Josh and your family for a great time.”

“This is a smaller pumpkin patch, but it was fantastic for my 2 year-old. He was free, every one else was $10 but that included a pumpkin of any size that we picked from the patch. We were there for a couple of hours and it was a lot of fun.”

“Great for younger kids! Makes an awesome quick fun trip, will not take all day. They have lots of little activities and a petting zoo. Plus great pumpkins of any size :) worth it for the younger ones!”

“Great time with our 2 year old twins! Friendly staff too. We stayed there for 4 hours.”

“Great place, especially for younger children.”

“Smaller than I expected, but the price is great. If you have older kids, it may be a quick trip. But if your children are 5 and younger, it's just enough to keep them entertained without having to walk for miles on end like other patches. Admission price gets you any pumpkin you want!”
