What visitors say

14 reviews on file · showing 6 visitor notes from the listing data.

“Great place run by Bainbridge Land trust . Vireo Farm is located south east corner, growing organic vegetables and raising quail and chickens for egg . Wonderful farm with an impressive hydroponics facility.”

“A beautiful space to walkabout nature & farmlife. A little overgrown in COVID times. Might run into a fellow neighbor passing through.”

“Beautiful setting. Fall festival wonderful. Good food, good people, great vibe.”

“Quaint & charming location for a short walk! My dog loves it.”

“A peaceful spot for a Friends of the Farm sponsored P-patch. The 14 plots get full sun most of the day (such as the sun is in the Puget Sound) and are adjacent to a mature orchard. The plots rent for a nominal annual fee. Organic methods are required. The fee also covers water, a small greenhouse and shed with most tools a vegetable garden needs. The downside? The voles that want their share of your produce.”

“When I dog sit this is where I take the pet. I have bad knees an need to stop often. People seem afraid of minority race. People came and left when they saw me just sitting with the pet or maybe they just had a misbehaved dog and didn't want a confrontation and didn't get out. It's happened more than once. You can do many laps or one lap around the trail. It's okay. Not the best place for a recreational walk. It's more like a country running track.”
