Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oregon.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“Such A Great Pumpkin Patch! They Have a Crazy Thrill Hayride! You load up a bucket of small pumpkins and while they pull you around fast and wild on the hayride everyone throws their pumpkins at targets. Such a fun experience. Once you get to the end, you can step off and collect more pumpkins to catapult with large sling shots! They also have a cool corn maze and participants of the hayride can pick out a small pumpkin to take home from the farm that they find on the ground. Inside the barn they have loads of fresh produce and goodies. They also have a hay fort with a giant slide to play on that is covered. Pro Tip: bring you rain boots!”

“Wonderful family farm with literally hours of fun for everyone. Excepts WIC farmers checks and always has fresh candy, seasonal fruits and veggies, and is very busy on the weekends in October. I would highly recommend trying Johnson farms for your pumpkin patch and/or Fall fun experience. Extremely nice staff and people overall. I will be going back in the near future.”

“We love Johnson Vegetable Farms! So fun for the whole family. Sunflower fields, goats and chickens, wild hay rides, pumpkin ride, awesome slide and hay playground, produce, corn maze, pumpkin sling shot - so much to do! It sure has gotten spendy - but where hasn’t? Such a fun time!”

“Had an absolutely fantastic time. Kid level corn maze, awesome hay rides, straw slide, pumpkin slingshots and a you pick pumpkin field. In addition to friendly staff they have fresh veggies!! A definite must for your spooktober.”

“BE CAREFUL with the big slide, it has cushions where kids land but they move and there are rocks stucks on the HARD dirt, if your kids lamd there and the cushions are not in place, they will get hurt pretty bad like my kid. The cushions move easily almost with every landing so beware! This place is awesome but when is crowded you can't really enjoying all the great things they have. This place needs some maintenance”
