A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New Jersey.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.

“What a great time. We went on a rainy night and we were the only ones in the kids adventure area and animal farm. We still had an amazing time talking with staff and exploring the property. Santa was there and there were a lot of people in there. Some family was in there and treating it like their own photo shoot. Very inconsiderate, privileged and oblivious to others waiting. They were blocking the line and having innocuous conversations unaware other people were waiting. The young girl moving the line along was overwhelmed by their rudeness but let us know we were next and thanked us for being patient. It wasn’t her fault. I just didn’t like the people it wasn’t a property issue. Anyway, that’s my venting. The Santa was excellent, had patience and was very kindhearted. My daughter felt very comfortable opening up to him. The younger guy taking care of starting the fire pit had a lot of information of the property. Filled me in on the history and the acquisition of LE Roselli’s Italian food sold in the market. This will be a family tradition for sure, rain or shine! The staffs interaction was definitely a highlight worth mentioning! I highly recommend this place!!”

“There’s a lot to do at Johnson’s Corner Farm. We did the pumpkin/sunflower picking, corn maze, and explored the market. I decided to visit because of the wheelchair- accessible (hay-less) hayride. They provided a ramp at each stop of the hayride. Overall, it was pretty accessible. Some spots had soft sand that needed a little strength to maneuver my sister’s wheelchair through but it was manageable. It was a little difficult to initially get into the corn maze but the maze itself wasn’t too bad to push my sister through. The staff were all very friendly and it was a fun day exploring the farm.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Johnsons Farm in New Jersey is such a great place for families! The farm is clean, organized, and full of fun seasonal activities — from apple and pumpkin picking to hayrides and delicious homemade treats. The cider donuts are a must-try, and the market has plenty of fresh produce and baked goods to take home. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there’s always something for everyone to enjoy — kids love the animals and play areas, while adults can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. A perfect spot for a day trip or weekend outing. Highly recommend! 🌾🍎🎃”

“We visited here last week. It’s a truly amazing place. We got to go on a hayride and, of course, pick strawberries. The staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommended—thanks Johnson's Corner Farm! I'll let the stars speak for themselves.”

“The cutest place for adults & kids! So much to offer for kids including hayrides to an Easter egg hunt (seasonal) we love the outside play area, the icecream, the animals. It’s such a fun day every time we go!”

“There’s water features, sand, climbing and playground areas . Everything is fenced and I appreciate the clean bathroom And food options as a mom to autistic children”

“Took my granddaughter here for her fall apple picking adventure! It was a beautiful day for playing on the playground and going on a hayride! We had a great time together and it was really a nice place for kids/families. Pricing wasn't too bad, although $20 for the playground is a bit expensive ($8 for her & $12 for the supervising adult). The toys/equipment were a bit outdated, but she had a BLAST, which is all that matters to me! The apple picking was SO much fun & doesn't get much fresher than right from the branches! I'll definitely be visiting again with my littlest love!”
