Jumbo's Pumpkin Patch

“We had a great time today. The kids loved the slide on the hill, the bounce pad, and the corn maze. The staff we encountered were all so sweet and helpful. The young people running the pony rides were so patient and didn’t rush our nervous son a bit. They really impressed us. I would definitely not go if it was terribly crowded, it would make for very long lines for activities. The prices for the cider and drinks and hot dogs were all reasonable. The funnel cake was a bit small for ten dollars but tasty. We will visit again. I did have to shake my head a bit at the inclusion of alcohol at a pumpkin patch, though. I feel so sorry for kids whose parents can’t take a two hour break from drinking to just enjoy quality time with their kids.”

“I guess I don’t know much about pumpkin patch economics but I don’t know if I’ve ever been to a place that charges $10 to just get in but hey if there’s a market I suppose people are going to pay it ! And I did ! Everyone there was very nice, so I can’t complain. There were nice sunflowers to spice up your Instagram if that’s what you’re into, however as you can tell from my sunflower picture it’s not going to do that for mine. The hay rides were nice except the first one we rode on didn’t have any hay! It was just a ride. It was fun and it’s a good fall thing to do. I also thought it was cool to see the mountains everywhere you were. I wish you had apple cider donuts </3”

“We had a great family afternoon at Jumbo's. With sweeping vistas and plenty of room to spread out looking for pumpkins, there was never any pressure. Like any well-run operation, the logistics are transparently smooth. No-pay parking begins a worry-free experience with playground activities, a petting zoo, and classic tractor-drawn trailer rides to more games, a corn maze and lots of good quality pumpkin picking. The tractor and trailer combos swing around regularly to take customers back to the barn to pay.”

“This was our first year here. We all really enjoyed it. Our two year old had her first pony ride and face painting done. We always love getting up close to animals we aren't around all the time. The play ground was really muddy when we were there. Too muddy to let our little one play which didn't go over well with her. Would be cool to have something down on the play ground floor to help with that (mulch maybe). All in all it was really nice and we'll go back next year.”

“Best pumpkin patch in Maryland by far. It's only $12 to get in and that includes Petting zoo face painting hayride pumpkin picking corn maze jumbo bounce house tons of children games in addition to a lot of hands on fun. My husband and I took our 3-year-old grandson and he had a blast It's definitely a fun time for all ages.”

“Beautiful farm and pumpkin patch. So many things to do and see - corn maze, creative play ground area, slide, farm animals, pony rides, delicious food options, country store with locally curated products, fun hay/wagon rides, pumpkin patches and so much more! Have been taking my kids there since 2008.”

“Did the suggle with baby animals what an awesome time. The staff was awesome. Helped keep the kids ages 6 months to 7 years safe and having fun while interacting with the animals. I'd give more stars if I could. Can't wait ti go back!!!”

“Pretty awesome place for pumpkins and to keep kids busy. Although not a huge place like summers farms it’s still worth it (free admission) to get in and check it out. General store is awesome and the whole place is real homey.”
