“I've been going here for some years now, and you have some of the most fun-loving, experience, knowledgeable people here and to top it off they have the most freshest fruits and vegetables that I know of in this area... I'm going to miss them when they shut down for the seasons until next year when they reopen again.”

I was hoping for more locally focused fruits and vegetables but it is the beginning of the season. The price seemed very reasonable to me”

“I love it here. They have the best fresh flowers and also Mums for your front porch!! Fresh veggies/all kinds of fruit like watermelons, beets, other melons, onions and collards and other greens. Organic meats etc.”

“I love this place. Great selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, fish, honey, and eggs. There are usually bouquets of flowers and potted plants too. They also have some fabulous gluten-free items on occasion for those with celiac. My only complaint is that the hours on Google aren't really the hours.They open on time, but during the summer they seem to close whenever in the evening. I drove all the way there at 6 PM on a Friday for fresh tomatoes. It says they're open until 7. They were closed when I got there at 6 PM.”

“I like this farmers market better than the other ones in Charlotte. It’s more organized and not too much items. They bring essential item and present it in a best possible way. Another thing I like about it is a little plants and flower shop in the corner.”

“I shop at farmers markets because I want to support local farmers and avoid buying produce from large commercial suppliers. That’s why I was extremely disappointed by what I found out happens here . I saw Driscoll’s berries being placed into farmers market bins and presented alongside produce in a way that made them appear to be locally farmed. As a customer, that was very misleading to me. If produce is commercially sourced rather than grown by the vendor, I believe that should be disclosed clearly instead of creating the impression that it came directly from a local farm. A grocery store tells me exactly who it came from, I’m appalled that a farmers market would mislead its consumers. People choose farmers markets because they value transparency, want to support local agriculture, and often want to avoid large corporate produce suppliers. When those expectations aren’t met, it undermines trust in both the vendors and the market as a whole. Especially when the big corporate suppliers they are supporting are all over platforms with how toxic the fruit is, causing cancer to consumers and the people who live by the mass produced “farms” I hope the market adopts clearer labeling and sourcing practices so customers know exactly where their food comes from and can make informed purchasing decisions. I come here thinking it’s safe and it’s a bigger lie than the big corps.”

“Ummm… I used to love coming here—until yesterday. I found dead worms in my produce, including some that hadn’t even hatched yet and were still in eggs. I’m honestly really disappointed and disgusted. After looking into it and seeing that this can be linked to pesticide exposure, I’m definitely going to be finding a new place to shop. Also when you take a deeper look at where the produce and eggs comes from the product label, save Food Lion. That pissed me off truthfully. So this Farmers market isn't even a REAL farmers market they get their stuff from food lion.”
