Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Kansas.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Klausmeyer Dairy Farm & Pumpkin Patch is one of the most versatile rustic farm venues in the Wichita area, offering a true Kansas countryside experience that blends weddings, seasonal attractions, and family-friendly farm entertainment into one large destination-style property. From a professional DJ and Photo Booth perspective, this venue stands out because it naturally creates energy and guest interaction. The property includes a renovated rustic barn, outdoor ceremony locations, sunflower fields, pumpkin patch areas, open farmland, and multiple activity spaces that keep guests engaged throughout the event experience. One of the biggest strengths of Klausmeyer Dairy Farm is flexibility. Couples can host ceremonies outdoors near the fields or pasture areas and then transition directly into a barn-style reception space that comfortably supports large guest counts, dance floors, DJ setups, uplighting, and Photo Booth activations. The rustic barn design with exposed beams and warm lighting creates the ideal atmosphere for high-energy Kansas wedding receptions. From a DJ standpoint, the venue works extremely well for weddings and large celebrations. The barn layout allows for strong sound coverage and smooth transitions between dinner, announcements, and dancing. Once the reception begins, the countryside atmosphere and open setup help the energy build naturally throughout the evening. Photo Booth setups also fit perfectly into this environment because the property already offers built-in backdrops everywhere you look—sunflower fields, rustic barns, pumpkin patch scenery, open prairie views, and seasonal décor all create natural opportunities for memorable guest photos and interaction. Another major advantage is the overall guest experience. Beyond weddings, the farm is already known throughout the area for attractions like corn mazes, hayrides, jumping pillows, and seasonal activities, which gives the property a welcoming and entertainment-focused atmosphere year-round. Overall, Klausmeyer Dairy Farm & Pumpkin Patch is a top-tier Kansas rustic wedding and event venue for DJ entertainment, Photo Booth experiences, and countryside celebrations, especially for couples wanting a relaxed farm atmosphere with scenic views, strong guest interaction, and a true destination-style event feel. “The best pumpkin patch I have ever been to. We were there for four hours and still didn't manage to see everything. The prices to get in and for concessions are very reasonable. My kids loved everything they are 4,7, and 10 and they were never bored. There were a ton of people there but you didn't really notice because they had double of things like zip lines, pillow jump, slides, jungle gyms, slack lines. Paintball was sooo fun and the scare house was perfectly age appropriate for my older two. I usually don't like kettle corn but theirs was delicious! This family has perfected running a place such as this, we had zero complaints. It was worth the hour drive!!!”

“Impressed! This is definitely the BEST pumpkin patch around the Wichita area! All of the activities that are included in the regular admission price, which is only $8, will have the kids entertained for hours! Pig races, petting zoo, zip lines, kiddy haunted house, obstacle course, yard games, ax throwing, HUGE bouncy 'pumpkin' pillow, corn maze. We did the combination admission, $13, and spent 3 hours there. So many fun things to do and so many adorable photo-ops!”

“It's a smaller pumpkin patch but still with plenty to do! In a way I preferred the smaller size because we were able to do everything, sometimes we can't at other patches. The only reason I took off a star was because the weight limit on the zip lines. It's for children under 120 lb and both of the sixth grade boys I had with me were too heavy to use it. Honestly they had plenty to do still but I know they would have loved that if they could have done it. Great experience I would definitely return.”

“The staff were friendly! There was a wide variety of activities for the entire family. Lots of picture perfect set ups. However, they do charge additional for majority of the activities in addition to entrance fee. So you may want to consider another location if you’re on a budget. We will be back!”

“It's okay, not amazing but not terrible. The animals are plentiful and seem to be well taken care of. The pumpkin selection is good and certainly plenty of them. A few attractions/activities that are fun. They do have a nice venue barn that is very functional for get-togethers or photo shoots. The people that ran it were very courteous.”
