“As someone who grew up eating blackcurrants, we made a special trip to pick at Lanzer’s as one of only a few growers in the state. Lionel, Sabrina, and family were incredibly welcoming and are blackcurrant experts with an almost encyclopedic knowledge of creative recipes and uses for the high in vitamin C fruit. If you’re in the area or an adventurous fruit picker, stop by, meet some great people, and find out why this fruit is such a rare and tasty find.”
