Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Georgia.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We had a great experience as always! We come at least once a season. I was sad that I missed a fried strawberry pie by 20 minutes but we still got the ice cream. We ended up picking about 9 lbs of strawberries and we found some big ones ! We easily found a parking spot and the line to check out wasn’t long. Had to get a couple of pictures with all the wonderful photo ops!”
