What you can pick
In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Ohio, not a guarantee for this exact farm.
Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Ohio.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“You get a bucket and can fill it as much as you want. The strawberries are organic and beautiful! First time ever being there today, and I will come back! The people there were nice and informative about the farm. For $15 a bucket, and as many strawberries as you can pick, I say this place is great!”

“One of the best tasting berries we have had in a long time! My husband and our two boys ventured out about an hour from Columbus and we're not disappointed! The patch was easy to find and had lots of berries that were easy to pick. Looking forward to coming back in the future!”

“Had a wonderful time! Friendly and super helpful people! Would definitely come here again. Probably a little earlier in the season to get the most strawberries at the peak of their growing season. Will be going back again for blackberry season!”

“They have a nice set up in their fields for picking. Very nice people, great bed covering for weeds & after the cold start to season nice berries!”

“They still have berries today (June 8th). Overheard owners say they are closing down after this week, possibly as early as Wednesday.”

“We took our grandson last weekend. The folks were very nice but the strawberries were out of this world!! It was an experience, let me tell you. I don't remember having strawberries like that before, but they were delectable! You didn't even really have to chew them. They burst with juice and then just kind of melt away. I can't wait to go back. I ate about 2.5lbs in two days. Lol I gave it a 4 just because it's a bit pricey. Not saying it's not worth it. Just an FYI.”

“It is very nice to be able to pick berries that are growing vertical instead of growing along the ground. The berries were very tasty also. One thing I was disappointed in, they made you pay per pound including the "cardboard" container you picked them in, not light weight plastic; next time I'm taking my own bags and not paying the extra.”
