“My husband and I got married here on may 31st and it was absolutely perfect! It was soo beautiful and every single one of our guests told us how lovely the place was and how it was just the perfect spot for a wedding! Very stunning views, lots of animals, lots of photo spots, and very big and open and remote! It was also very affordable we couldn't believe such a place would be so. It included the tables and chairs as you see pictured, the bridal and groom suite, indoor clean bathrooms, and several different ceremomy spot options. The place is very well maintained! The barn isn't temperature controlled but it was still comfortable all the times we were there for tours or meetings and of course for the big day! . Kristen was super easy to work with and very flexible with schedules! Our caterer and photographer were regulars at working at lone hawk and was very excited to do another wedding there! We used the provided sound system because we had no dj and it was easy to use and there were no errors! It worked great! The bridal suite is breathtaking and very enjoyable as well. We HIGHLY recommend choosing Lone Hawk farm for your next event! Cant beat it! Photos by Megan Simpson Photography”

“We got married here in late September. It is an idyllic location. It was a hotter day than usual and there was plenty of shade and everyone was still comfortable. We loved all of the different outdoor spaces and the barn was perfect for dinner/reception. We absolutely loved this venue. Kristin was also great to work with and we appreciated being able to do several visits ahead of time during the planning process. (Pictures by Stephanie Tod Photography)”

“This was my second wedding at Lone Hawk Farms and it has once again provided an amazing experience! The property is incredible and has many options for different ceremony and reception options and so many amazing locations for portraits. I could work here dozens of times and almost never get the same photos. Would love to work here again!”

“Beautiful outdoor/indoor wedding venue. Plenty of shade, and good for a ~100-150 person wedding. The gazebo and open grassy area is about 40 yards from the barn for the reception. There is also a good space on the side of the barn as well for a ceremony.”

“Absolutely gorgeous venue! We got married here in May. Kristin was easy to work with and very kind. The property speaks for itself and is perfect for a garden party style wedding. We absolutely loved the foliage and effortless beauty the landscape provided. The only drawback is that the property lacks some upkeep and grooming. The meadow we were married in was not manicured before the day-of. The grass was patchy and did not look as appealing as we had hoped. The reception barn got a bit hot due to there being no AC. (The high that day was 80 and we were married at 11am) Some of the surrounding decorative pieces placed around the venue were sun-worn, cracked and melted. The price of the venue seemed fair but it is completely DIY. With all the expenses of bringing things in, this venue cost as much as a luxury all-inclusive venue but the physical appearance did not reflect that. All in all venue gets 4/5 stars for me. Lastly, Lone Hawk Farm requires a staffing service for all weddings on site. They recommend a local outfit that they’ve worked with in the past for many years. Their name is At Your Service Events. Jim and Trish are the owners. We deeply regret working with this organization as they did not meet the bare minimum standards for staffing. We worked with Trish and she was aggressive, unorganized, forgetful, and downright unprofessional at times. We did not receive the service that we were promised when we signed the contract with this company. The ceremony setup was uneven and asymmetrical. Although I personally went through the layout of the reception, table setup, place settings and location of everything three separate times, none of it was executed correctly. I even provided drawings of the layout and details of the table settings. The place settings were all incorrect and the sweetheart table was also completely incorrect. My husband and I were not even provided a knife or spoon at our place setting, only a fork. Right after our ceremony, we retreated to the bridal suite to sign our marriage license and we were promised there would be wine and refreshments waiting for us. There was nothing. My wedding coordinator had to personally go get these for us. The reception was lacking attentive service in regard to water refills. Trish repetitively bombarded my mom and day-of coordinator with a multitude of questions that disrupted the peace of the wedding. (All things that had already been discussed and did not need questioning) All this being said, we had ran through the flow and organization many times and Trish did not retain any information. I was personally called (the bride) and bombarded with questions just days before my wedding which was extremely stressful because I had no peace of mind leaving the wedding in the hands of someone who runs such a disorganized business. If I could give At Your Service a separate review of 0/5 stars I would but they have no Google page. 🤔 Very interesting. The total cost came close to $2000 for an 11am-4pm wedding. (Mind you there was setup and teardown as well) All in all, because of our horrible experience with the staffing service, I’m giving a 4/5 stars. I don’t want my poor experience with the staffing service to reflect poorly on Lone Hawk Farm per se. Unfortunately, there were some issues with our special day but it was still a beautiful day and we are so happy that we used this location.”
