“I am all OBSESSED with places like this… Restaurants/venues that are doing something so special that it doesn’t matter if they are off of the beaten path because they are destinations worth pursuing. Luna Valley Farms found on some gravel roads outside of Decorah is home to some beautiful farm ground, animals grazing, indoor and outdoor space that can accommodate large groups, EXCEPTIONAL pizza, local beer and wine, and even a general store if you want to buy some of the quality ingredients they use or the beef they have raised on site. You know it’s a good restaurant when they can list to you where every ingredient in their food comes from. It’s no wonder they’ve been featured in national publications like the New York Times. The owner and her staff were so friendly and accommodating. There’s no way you won’t fall in love with what they are doing. Their drive to offer sustainable food in a breathtaking venue is as admirable as it is mouthwatering.”

“We lucked out and had absolutely perfect weather for a Friday night at Luna Valley Farm. We got there around 6 pm and had to wait about 15 minutes to order, which wasn't bad and the pizza itself was well worth any wait. I've been to a few other pizza farms and Luna Valley was probably the best in terms of pizza (we had one vegetarian and one with sausage), and toward the top of the list on the dreamy-ness scale. It was nice being able to order alcohol on-site, and they had a really great selection of local beers, ciders, and wines. Bugs weren't an issue at all and everyone was really friendly. Our only regret: not signing up months in advance to book a glamping tent - next time!”

“Interesting place. Plenty of covered seating on picnic benches or bring your own folding chairs. Pizza is very good although options are limited. Good beer on tap. Orange wine was a little sweet for my taste. They do have a shop that sells beer, wine and other things like specialty foods and souvenirs. Limited restroom options. Scenery was nice and they do have live music on occasion. Also, you must carry out all your waste (pizza boxes, cups etc.).”

“This place has the best pizza in the area and it's a wonderful place to spend a few hours. Totally family friendly and a lovely selection of adult beverages for the older crowd. Do not miss this spot! You have to make a reservation before hand with your pizza order, so plan ahead and plan early to book a spot.”

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in the country! The pizza is perfect and the views are unbeatable. I love this small family farm, the staff and owners are the sweetest. A must visit!”

“Incredible pizza, beautiful place, lovely staff, and a cute little farm store! What more could you want! Plus, the reservation system for pizza makes the wait so short.”

“The pizza was mediocre at best. Prices are BS for what you get. The toppings are minimal and next to no sauce and cheese. For over 20 dollars a pizza ( I bought 6) you should be getting some toppings. You can’t mix match or add any toppings to pizzas either so I’m Not sure what makes them so expensive. I shouldn’t have to take home my own trash for what it costs. Too much to ask for you to put a trash can in a few places? LAME! I feel like my money was stolen paying over $20 a pizza and having to haul my own trash because the restaurant is too cheap to put in a few trash cans. I’ve never paid so much for a meal to have to do all the work myself. Why don’t you just make me cook it too? The place was crowded so no place to sit. Ended up sitting on the grass. Extremely noisy in the over crowded pavilion.. I just don’t see the fascination with gimmicky places like this. Nothing on the menu besides pizza.. Save your money and spend on an actual restaurant that provides quality food and service.. This one has figured out how to scam over priced pizza and make the customer do the employees work. I’m not sure what “experience” they were going for but, I’ll never eat there again.”

“Really odd you have to take all your trash (including empty ber cans) with you as they don't have garbage cans anywhere. The pizza was average, the overall ambiance was nice and relaxing..until they all started praying in unison (nothing against it) but it was very weird. Won't be coming back.”
