Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Arizona.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I bought tickets online for the sunflower festival. Website was easy to navigate & the price was reasonable (about $18/person, 2 & under are free). We visited the patch with our 2 toddlers & our newborn on 10/7. Me & my husband were impressed with how everything was set up. There were a lot of areas for photo opportunities, big open area for kids to run around & not be crowded and it was clean which I appreciated the most. We went on a very rainy day (btw it’s a rain or shine type of event) we still got to enjoy ourselves. The ticket ppl kept reminding us that there were no refunds, which we didn’t mind b/c we had already made the drive & we’re determined to make do. Most of the attractions had shade so that helped a lot and we managed to not get soaked. There were workers helping/looking out for the kids at every station which I also appreciated. My son enjoyed the mini diggers the most. My daughter loved the farm animals area. It was clean & animals were enclosed, there was an area to wash your hands after petting the animals. We got to ride the mini train that went around the farm which we all enjoyed. My toddlers got to play on the playground which looked brand new/well maintained and their jumping pillows. It was nice to have areas where the kids could let their energy out and also chill out. I liked that we got to take pictures on the sunflower field and their pumpkin patch area had shade so we got to take pictures there while we waited for the rain to die down. I saw ppl cutting their own sunflowers to buy to make their own bouquet, which was a nice option. They had a bakery shop, gift shop and concession area to buy an actual meal & not just snacks. We grabbed a bite to eat to end our trip so our hangry toddlers weren’t cranky on the drive home. There were so many things to do. There were rides & the big slide that we didn’t even get to on our trip. We had such a great experience and will probably go to this pumpkin patch again. We’ve been to other pumpkin patches & this was the first one we that we thoroughly enjoyed as a family.”

“Sitting on my porch a few days after the festival just smiling and feeling blessed to have been a part of the music at the patch. Music at the patch was the first time I have ever been to the Marana Pumpkin patch, and let me just say this venue is absolutely stunning! We spent the weekend camping in the rv and had a weekend we will hold close to our hearts forever. This festival was the first live music a brought my grandchildren to and they loved it. It was full of amazing families that ran around playing, riding rides, petting animals, dancing, laughing, and singing. I loved how safe the venue was for children of all ages! Our entire family had the best weekend ever! We were so impressed with how well the venue was put together to host large groups, families, and all the campers. The music was out of this world! My favorite was a beautiful young lady Maddy Collinsworth singing the National Anthem, she brought tears to my eyes! All the bands were so amazing!! Music is fuel for our soul and a huge part of our lives! We feel truly blessed to have shared this past weekend with our family, friends, and Tucson's 2 degrees of separation! We sure hope you have another Music Festival at the Marana Pumpkin Patch! Thank you so much for having us!! We will definitely be back!”

“So I added a lot of photos of the food because I didn’t see a lot of reviews on here that had pictures of the food. The food was good. The rides were fun. The pumpkin patch was really fun. I definitely think it is worth $20 a person after coming here especially if you have children some of the rides do have an extra cost, but most of the rides come free with a $20 entry fee. The pumpkin picking was extremely fun. The children really loved it. It’s a great place and you love supporting local.”

“Absolutely AMAZING; needs 6 out of 5 stars, honestly. Super affordable, both entry and items inside. The pumpkin hunting was so much fun and like $12 for a HUGE pumpkin. Cannons, paintball, hard apple cider, corn maze, jump pads, and probably other stuff. So much to do! Please go support these guys; absolutely worth the drive.”

“We loved our time here and found the $20 admission per person worth the price. They also have their operations dialed in, I was very impressed. We only got one medium sized pumpkin and two decorative ones and tgst cost $6 bucks. Very fair price.”

“It's a wonderful time at the Marana Pumpkin patch. Most of the activities are for the kids and plenty of good eating for the adults! But it's all good, because there is plenty of walking around in the fun corn maze, sunflower fields (my personal favorite) and much more! Everything is organized with parking and the bathrooms are kept up nicely. The only thing that I found was the pies, the wedges of the pies somehow seemed smaller. 🤔 But, their homemade kettle corn is AMAZING! It's a fun getaway from the city! Wear comfy shoes! 😄”
