What you can pick

In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Pennsylvania, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Pennsylvania.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Payment notes on file: Mastercard. Cash still helps at smaller stands.

What visitors say

308 reviews on file · showing 8 visitor notes from the listing data.

“Every year my family and I make homemade grape juice. This year we tried a new farm for our grapes. Mason Farms gave us the opportunity to pick our own, which was a blast. The price was also amazing. The kids enjoyed the activity and learned something new. The employees were very helpful and kind. They even gave the kiddos small pumpkins to paint. If you are looking for a great activity, stop on by. Check their website for other seasonal fruits and vegetables. If this review was helpful, please click the LIKE button.”

“Great Produce & Mums. I like to take a ride out there even though I am closer to the Peninsula Drive one. A little ride out in close to country is good for everyone. They have a good selection and they are very helpful. They also will help you carry your mums to the car. Very polite and helpful. I always enjoy going to this place.”

“Not only can you come up and pick your own vegetables and fruit. You can buy what's at the stand, at very amazing and reasonable prices. They also sell flowers and hanging big plants of all kinds. I've always loved coming here and we'll do so every year. Tomatoes are ready closer to the end of August as well.”

“Wish we had more time to spend here! The kids really wanted to pick their own strawberries! How cool is that!!! The strawberries and Cherries were so sweet that we barely made it down the road and realized we should have bought more. If you can stop here, do it!”

“Friendly service and very helpful. I have been coming and picking for 4 years and every year they are pleasant and enjoyable to talk with. Their produce is delicious and they are generous with their measurements. A quart is a heaping quart.”

“I've been coming here since I was in diapers. My family has come here since my mom was a kid. Best farm fresh produce around. Jason is an awesome sales clerk as well, give him and the team a visit for some damn good fruit and vegetables!”

“The roadside farm market had great variety. Wish they had told me when they sent me up the street to pick strawberries, you have to pick a minimum quantity of 4 qt (definitely not feasible for one person last minute).”

“This past Tuesday, I went with my entire family to this farm for strawberry picking. My husband, parents, and 2-year-old had a great time. Upon exit, we gave our berries to my parents to pay and left the farm. As we began driving, one of the workers followed our car. It felt like we were being tailgated, so I asked my husband to pull over. I am 8 months pregnant, and this immediately felt scary and unsafe. Once we stopped, the worker aggressively came to my husband’s window and accused us of stealing strawberries. My husband explained multiple times that we didn’t have any baskets since our parents were paying. I even called my father in front of the worker to confirm and show that they were the ones paying for the berries, but despite that, the worker still insisted on searching our vehicle and even tried to open our trunk. The entire situation was extremely disrespectful and completely unnecessary. Being accused of stealing with no evidence, while pregnant and with a child in the car, was beyond inappropriate and frankly ridiculous. There was absolutely no attempt at a calm or respectful conversation. Of course, there were no strawberries because we did not steal anything. We will never be returning.”
