“The tour started with sn Overview then into the processing plant. Lots of interesting details about the process e.g. pineapples that don't float in the float tank are not processed for sale. After the plant we went into the fields by bus. We saw every stage of the process from fields in fallow to newly planted to ready for harvest. Of course we also had taste testing. Nothing like nicely ripe, very fresh pineapples, right in the field!”
“A great food and farm tour with amazing pineapples and pineapple products. Can’t recommend this tour enough. See our Tour on YouTube (search Tonya Alexis and Pete - Maui Gold tour). We did the basic tour and got three small free pineapples at the end of the tour. Tasting the fresh fruit in the field was a one of a kind experience. Highly recommend!”
“We visited Maui Gold and toured the pineapple farm/fields. It was very fun and informative. During the tour you are taught the Hawaii pineapple industry history, the farming process and much more. You even get to taste pineapple on the tour! The gift shop is nice too, with cool merch and pineapple related snacks.”
“I had a wonderful experience on the farm tour! Our guide, Kennedy, was extremely knowledgeable & fun. It was so cool to pile into a tour bus & head up a dirt road into the working pineapple fields. We even got to eat fresh cut pineapple right next to the harvesters. To top it off we got a pineapple to take home!”
