Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Kansas.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“In the midst of our busy lives, this place offers a touch of serenity—a truly wonderful spot to enjoy beautiful moments with the whole family. Picking fruits directly from the field is a rare and delightful experience. Not only adults, but I believe children will especially enjoy it and have the chance to learn a lot about farming and cultivation. We visited in May, so we had the opportunity to pick strawberries. The lady who provided the baskets and guided us through the process was incredibly kind and welcoming. The sweet aroma of fresh strawberries during the picking was simply enchanting. However, I unknowingly wore a pair of white sneakers, and since the soil was wet due to irrigation, my feet sank slightly and the shoes got muddy, which made exploring a bit difficult. So, I recommend wearing appropriate footwear. The place also has adorable cats and dogs. While paying the bill, I discovered they also sell organic honey, goat milk soaps, souvenirs, t-shirts, bags, and more. They even offer two non-alcoholic drink options. All in all, it was a delightful and memorable day.”

“I absolutely adore this orchard. They are so respectful of everybody that comes through. My boyfriend loves to take me on dates out here during the peach season and its always so serene and grounding. Truly a weekend staycation after a hard week of work. Such a treat to be able to come out here. Because of this orchard, I just cant go back to store bought peaches lol. Their ciders and root/ginger beers are fantastic to take along with you to round out the whole experience! 10/10 thank you so much!!”

“Lovely farm with warm country hospitality. We went strawberry picking last year and apple picking twice this year. There's a lovely shaded picnic area with tables for eating food (you can bring your own - they don't really have any meals, just snacks and produce from their farm and neighboring farms) or drinking their hard/sparkling cider or lemonade. There's also a nice mostly shaded playground for kids as well.”

“My family and I had a super fun time here. There were plenty apples to pick, we went at our own pace, and the souvenir shop had some cool stuff like apple cider made fresh at the orchard, some alcohol choices also made at the orchard, and some homemade jams too! My kids enjoyed the playground, and overall had a blast. We'll definitely be back!”

“Fun local experience! We picked apples and peaches. Staff are really nice. They have a variety of cider, salsa, cheese and other items for purchase. Cash and credit card accepted. Go early for pumpkins. We just finished strawberry picking and the kids LOVED IT!”

“Workers were very friendly. Bathrooms were adequate. Lots of family activities, including a playground, volleyball, checkers, yard games, and more. Unfortunately, the slushy machine was not working. They also offer juice or hard cider though. The landscape is scenic, and makes for a nice experience. It is a little bit more expensive that I would expect, but we also maybe did not hang around long enough to get the most for our money. There were lots of peaches this year, which was great!”

“Highly suggest you try the Root Beer and Peach slush. It’s quite good. Make sure to have the owner inform you of the correct peach to look for before going out. I personally made that mistake, but the owner was kind and told us what to look for. That was appreciated. Hope to return for the apple season one day if we return to Kansas.”
