Melon 1 Farms

“One of the best places we have ever picked up from! We were put to a door as soon as we arrived and loaded to the tail in under an hour. I don't understand the negative reviews. Friendly staff, maintained grounds, and they grow naturally; no pesticides. Even the owner came out for a quick visit. Very nice guy.”

“Guys be careful on gravel road!!! Drive fast and don’t stop or take 2nd driveway. Once you stop on gravel you stuck. Very professional people, helped me right away( Thank you all guys). Overnight parking available, restroom available, loading fast. Polite people. Definitely place you want to come back.”

“They have very friendly workers here. Easy docks to back into and parking around the loop while you wait. I would definitely come here again.”

“Fast and quick loading”

“Maybe it's just bad luck. Maybe it's not always like this but this was a horrible experience. I got here at 4pm after broker told me ASAP and after working since 5am. I went inside to ask how long it was going to be and was told a couple hours. At 6 I went in and asked again and was told the same. Just a little longer. Right. Come to find out the driver in front of me had been here since noon. Then at almost 9pm they finally came out and politely told me they wouldn't be loading me until the following day! It's not the fact I'm not getting loaded. It's the complete lack of communication or concern for anyone else's time. Instead of sitting on a dirt road for 5 hours, they could have told me any time that I could leave and come back the next day. And now I'm still sitting here, what will end up being probably close to 20 hours by the time all is said and done. Until the broker and Kroger and whoever is in charge here can get on the same page with appointments and scheduling, I would not come here and risk it if you don't have to.”

“I got here at 12 , it is 7:30 looking another 2 hrs at least to get loaded. Tick about it , you see a line of truck and you see the sign, we are little slow today , it is everyday and run away as fast as you can, man .”

“This people slow then turtle please my fellow drivers don’t accept load from this facility n people at the office can’t hear you for any type of questions”

“Worst quality watermelons, they will force you to redeliver rejected load for cheap to their NJ location! Avoid at all cost”
