Mickelson Pumpkin Patch

“What a wonderful place to take the family! We have been getting our Christmas trees from Mickelson Christmas Trees for a number of years. I was so excited to hear they were opening a pumpkin patch. I know this is their first year, but they really have outdone themselves. So many fun things to do, we made an entire afternoon of it. From the great pumpkin selection, tractor ride, and the hay maze! My goodness that thing is awesome! I can't wait to watch this wonderful small business grow and see what they come up with next. I think we will be back again before the season is over. Well done Mickelson Pumpkin Patch!”

“This pumpkin patch is amazing. My son has a blast at this place. Their grain ride is very well decorated. Bathrooms are clean. Their customer service is beyond amazing, my husband lost the wedding band in the corn grit area, corn grit!! We called them and they were on it right away, the next day, we got a call that they found it. What a great place and amazing customer service. Thank you so much!!”

“There was plenty of parking. It was such a large place. They were very friendly, so much to do there from a train ride to trolley rides, playing in the corn pit, they had a jumpy area, which looked really fun. A food area and alcohol, of course, for those are twenty one and up... T shirts and hoodies for sale.If you're into that and other little miscellaneous, things that you can buy.”

“New family tradition! Everything was beautiful, clean and fun! We were there almost 4 hours and our 1 year old did not want to leave! The pumpkins were all great and nicely priced for the area! May go back next week”

“We travel far to come here with the family. We get here VERY early to beat the wild traffic that comes about this place. I think this area can be quite fun for kids over a certain age. My daughter who just turn one was so intrigued with the jumpers but unfortunately could not go in unless she was 2. I think they should allow a toddler small section for the babies for family that have older kids and smaller kids to enjoy. She was only really about to see the petting zoo, and be in the corn pit. But kept walking bro the jumpers to admire the kids play. It can wet very hot here during October too especially peak afternoon, which is why we go early. Also expensive, tickets for everything, and then food separately. Hay ride was actually nice, they have set up in the back area you don't see but when the hay ride takes you there it's cool how they incorporated old house home teams for the skeletons.”

“Pumpkin Patch is easily accessible and right off HWY 101. Was not previously aware of the Weekend Admission cost of $3/person (Sat & Sun). Good selection of pumpkins but the admission fee caught my family & I off guard. In the future I recommend calling ahead or checking their website for ALL fees.”

“Bounce houses are old and most are for little kids. One was collapsing. They ran out of paintballs before Halloween. One bounce house was collapsing. The hay pyramid still has dangerous gaps covered with straw, where I sprained my ankle last year. They ran out of paintballs. We had enjoyed it last year and drove far to visit. So all the worse when they refused to let us back into the bounce area for one last jump a whole 15 minutes before closing, while other kids were still jumping. I asked for 5 minutes of the time I paid for. "No." Only the $3 entry and maybe the hayride are worth it, better bounce houses/slides/etc elsewhere.”

“DO NOT BUY PUMPKINS HERE. They don’t actually grow pumpkins here, despite the presentation. They are shipped in from who knows where, and they mold and decompose within 24 hours of carving!!! Happened last year when we bought them here, thought it was a fluke, then it happened again. $50 worth of pumpkins down the composter. Again! Sure, go there for the fun and well run fair-like atmosphere, provided you’re ok with the outrageous prices. But avoid the pumpkins. Many were already rotting in the fake field, LOL. As for the prices: Maybe if you make a day if it, the all inclusive pass makes sense, but it doesn’t include all the rides. Don’t get me wrong, it’s one of the nicest faire-style “pumpkin patch” around and the bounce houses are great, I just would like better value for the fact we already paid top dollar for the pumpkins.”
