Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in California.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“It’s always such a pleasure to visit Moreland Pumpkin Patch every year! The kids have an absolute blast, and there’s so much to do and see. This year’s pirate ship was amazing, and they were so creative, it was well done, a total success! We love coming here not only for the fun and festive atmosphere but also because it supports the school and a great community cause. Highly recommend this pumpkin patch for families. Great memories and good vibes every time!”

“Halloween trail is very good experience! They have 2 types, family friendly for kids and the other is intense for brave hearts. About $15 ticket price. Discounts available on 4 or more tickets.”

“This pumpkin patch/haunted maze is great. The school faculty and volunteers are creating such an amazing experience for families every October. We look forward to attending every year.”

“This event is organized completely by volunteers. The actors in both Scary trials ( 9pm and 9.30pm slots) and Family friendly trials are also volunteers ,who dress up with their own money and perform the acts. We can buy food , pumpkins and tickets for trials at the location. My family and one of the actors said that the scary trials are pretty intensive, not for feeble hearts. Family friendly was liked by my daughter. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities for the adults and the students. We love Joyce Ragavan ,who does the food service at the event.”

“I wouldn’t recommend going to Moreland Pumpkin Patch if you’re planning on doing the family walk. It was quite expensive at $15 per person, even for my 2yo. We lined up at our 730pm check-in time and waited 35 minutes in the cold and were only halfway through the line. We left because it would have been another 25-35 more minutes to get through the line. However, the staff was great and the carnival games were fun. Nice to have all of the thoughtful decorations as well, our child loved playing with all of the pumpkins.”
