Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Arkansas.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Motley’s was recommended by a few friends and did not disappoint!! I tried to get a sampling of what we did but there were more things not even pictured. All the staff we talked to was kind and vibrant, there was music playing to set the vibe right and lots of shady spots to stop and relax in. The kids LOVED it and so did my husband and I. Everything was fully manicured, and pictures came out perfect. I will absolutely recommend this pumpkin patch to all my friends! And bonus!! We’ll be going back in December for their FREE Christmas tree & hot cocoa event! Budget $14 a person and $18 each for an all-inclusive wristband that pays for the big slide, the bounce thing and the cow train ride 🎃 You can tell this place is ran with love and care and I can’t wait to enjoy it again!”

“A great family tradition! My wife’s family has been visiting here every Christmas since the 1980s and my how they’ve grown. The pumpkin patch is well worth the admission fee, and I recommend paying for the bouncing pad for kids under 13. Its a great distraction and easily adds 45 minutes more fun. They’ve done a lot here to provide food and great memories, always lots of photo opportunities. Make sure not to miss a Pig Race with Mr Motley before the SEC investigators catch on.”

“So much to do for the kids. Worth the drive from White County as well. I found this accidentally looking for haunted houses and so glad I did! Better than the one closest to us in Bald Knob ar for sure! Hay rides, pirate ship, and pillow jump was the kids favorite part. The line for the huge slide was so long so we didn’t do it unfortunately. But def next year!”

“Love this place has a petting zoo, pig races, giant slide! Beautiful flower beds! The grill food was delicious, I had a cheeseburger but the wait time to get the food was terrible! Definitely a place for the family to enjoy w a big pumpkin selection!”

“Amazing to go with the kiddos!! We went for pumpkin patch. Children under 3 years old are free, the admission is between $9 and $12 (if you choose the do it all option). But it doesn't include free pumpkin, they do sell it though!!”

“Thank you so much for opening this event to the public. I had lots of fun. I enjoyed the hay ride, the corn maize, seeing the farm animals. The Frito pie was amazing. The price was affordable. I’m so glad for this experience.”

“Looked like fun. Too expensive and no one can come during the week except schools or planned parties.🤧 We didn't enjoy ourselves but I'm sure the schools did. Got a good picture though lol! Edit: We did enjoy ourselves just not here and that's ok! ! If we decide to go back next year I'll be sure to plan better because it was my fault we didn't get to experience ALL the things. We joked the whole way we would get the boojee tickets lol. Anyways I was assuming after the school kids left we could come back at a later time but that option was not given or even offered. I want to say I asked but Im probably wrong. ... I will also plan to pay for my pumpkin separately since it's not included in the 18.00$ entry fee like I assumed as well. It was my fault for assuming of course! But I won't know if it's as fun as it looks until I get to experience it for myself. Everything looked clean and well kept, the lady at the front made sure I knew to check their website and Facebook page next time and all the times and dates were posted and correct. I totally understood that, that wasn't my issue. And it most definitely wasn't her problem. It wasn't even her fault. Was she willing to help me with my issue,no, I didn't feel helped at all. I did get to use the bathroom though which was cool. And all of me wanted to blame her for not allowing us to just go in since we were already there but who could I blame but myself. 🙃 I decided to just be polite to the lady and take my mom and kids and find something else to do. What else could I do obviously. I let my kids down by this place and even my mom who drove 2 hours to be with us. None the less we had the best day ever!!! ...just not here....and that's ok...🎃you win some you lose some. Diary entry over. 😂”

“It was an okay experience, but I think it was a bit pricey for what you get. There wasn’t a real pumpkin patch, it’s just pumpkins spread out on the ground, which was kind of disappointing. The corn maze could be better, but the slide looked pretty fun and the kids there seemed to love the pig races. They do have some great photo spots with cute props, so that was a nice touch. Overall, not bad, but could definitely improve for the price. Manage to leave there with this $15 pumpkin.”
