Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Louisiana.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This pumpkin patch is nice! $10 per child, parents are free. We brought a wagon with bottled water and a couple snacks. There is a lot of parking available and the lines weren’t terrible. We went October 12 around 1pm, it was HOT and the sun was out. They do have covered picnic tables which was nice. Bring a fan lol. We didn’t stay long but saw there was booth for jambalaya for $5. Lots a of places to take pictures, lots of pumpkins. There’s a playground and zip line. They had two jumping pads which my child loved. They had a trough of corn the kids can play in and a corn maze. I’d advise wearing close toed shoes for sand and dirt, and watch out for ant piles. This will definitely be on our list to visit every fall!”

“Mrs. Heathers Pumpkin Patch is always a hit every year! Even with the seven year age gap I still can talk my big kid into coming along! Good old fashioned fun. Toys, games, mazes, mini trails, and pumpkins. Couldn't ask for much more. Do reccomend bringing a wagon for littles as it's a big space and a mini ice chest is allowed for drinks and lunch under covered pavilions. If you come prepared you can spend quite a bit of time at Mrs. Heathers enjoying a nice day:)”

“This was a great place to visit. My daughter had so much fun! There were trampolines, bouncy toys, a short trail in the woods, a corn field maze, zip line rides, swings, face painting and thousands of pumpkins. The parking is free too! I only wish we could have petted the farm animals but I understand why they wouldn’t allow it.”

“My husband to me here and it was my first time going to a pumpkin patch, it was really nice, to enter was $10 per person and you could take a pumpkin with you, lots of games for kids, you also can bring your own picnic and sit by a sitting area that they have. If you have kids, bring plenty of water, they will play a lot!!!”

“My grandkids so much love this place! They are 9 and 7 now. Of course my country grandboys favorite thing is rolling down the hill and walking and exploring the forest! A wonderful place for family time! Clean grounds, polite and courteous staff. A good family environment to bring kids to. And it’s fun!”

“Good Pumpkin patch with plenty of space and activities. Cash Only or Cash App for purchases on property. There's plenty of covered sitting places to relax”

“I love coming here! I bought the kiddos on opening weekend and boy was it hot and sunny but glad they had fun! 🤩”

“As much money as this place pulls in, it needs some SERIOUS work. The blue swing is holding on by a single chain, the spider web has so many holes. The teepee is spray painted to try to mask the MOLD all over it. So GROSS when children play in it. The plywood needs replacing by the slide. There was no water in the cows for the kids to milk the cow, the inflatables that the kids ride on were not even inflated. Just insane how not kept up this place is.”
