Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Kansas.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Amazing family fun!! There was so much for our little guy to do!! They had a super huge slide that you had to climb up hay bales to get to, a hay drop, a hay fort, a corn pit, a sandbox, a petting zoo, pumpkins everywhere! And a very cool corn maze! Its family run, which made me feel better about being there, and they were all very nice 😊 The hours were 1-7 Sunday, which is the day I went. You should check their website for hours. It costs $7/each to get in, only kids 1 year old or younger get in free... no half price for older kids or anything. Lots of activities were included with admission, though, the only things that cost extra were $1 per ticket... The barrel wagon was 1 ticket, the corn maze was 2 tickets each, and the laser tag was 5 tickets for 40 lives... there were wagons available for the kids to ride or to put your pumpkins in... the avg size pumpkins cost between $4-7 a piece, theres tiny star gourds, 50 cents each, and baby pumpkins for $1 each, big basket planters of living mums for $10... It was super easy to find, less than 5 miles East from Hiawatha and 15 minutes or so north of Atchison. Definitely worth the time and money, an excellent time I can't wait to do again!!”

“Love this sweet place!! We’re always looking for places where we don’t have to camp in an “RV City” and this farm was absolutely perfect! There are just a couple of full hookup sites and they back right up to the beautiful pond. The bugs weren’t bad at all. Water pressure was great and there are fire pits, BBQs and swings to enjoy. The pumpkin patch wasn’t operating, as we visited mid-summer, but there would be plenty to do with kids anyway. It was very peaceful with its just adults.”

“It's a great place to take fall photos with your family. We loved doing some of the activities they offer like pumpkin sling shot corn maze and petting some farm animals. We had a great time introducing our son to this fun place and definitely making it a new fall tradition every year!”

“Family came to do the pumpkin patch and activities we had so much fun. Property was put together well loved the maps and signs, all staff we came into contact with were really nice and helpful. We’ll definitely be coming back next year!”

“A great place for the kids. They have a lot of stuff going on. Price of admission is reasonable and the additional activities are $1 per person. Very friendly service and employees. They have a nice gift shop, too.”

“Had an absolute blast! Everything was so fun, I loved getting to pick my own pumpkin and seeing all of the cats! The hay ride was a blast and the pumpkin sling shot was too! Definitely recommend! (:”

“So many activities for any age group. Didn't do the boats because it was cold. Our group loved the laser tag and the sling shot. Will love to visit again!!”

“It's a very nice place. There's a lot for the kids to do. If you are looking for something to keep the kids entertained its worth the $8 to get in. If your just going to check it out then look at it like you're donating to a good thing. There are extra things that you pay separately for, but they're inexpensive. Laser Tag, paddle boats, pumpkin sling shot, corn maze, etc. The restrooms are Porta potties that were clean so 10 stars for that and a hand washing station!!!”
