Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Colorado.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Super cute little farm, we went there pretty late in the season and they still have lots of pumpkins to chose from! Plus a ton of big ones along with ones that were all sorts of colors that they had already picked and sitting at the front! The prices seemed a little steep to me, as it was $6 for a small, $15 for a medium, and $20 for a large, but that was my first experience actually picking a pumpkin off the vine, so I don’t know much. Though it’s a perfect place to take super cute pumpkin pictures!”

“My favorite pumpkin patch ever! I went for the first time last Fall as a Freshman at CU Boulder. I’ve come back several times with friends and family not only for the pumpkins, but for the farmers market! Some of the best fruits and veggies I’ve ever had. My favorite part about this pumpkin patch is that it is not overly commercialized with giant fake pumpkins, over priced fast food, and gift shops - it brings back the magic of going to pumpkin patches as a kiddo.”

“I will never buy a pumpkin from a store again. This place was so cute and fun! Will definitely be back. Great selection of the most beautiful pumpkins- it was hard to pick just one! Had a variety of other produce also available. Plenty of parking and great prices! Highly recommend coming here!”

“I've been coming here for years and absolutely love Munson Farms. Years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Munson at the farm stand - he was a pleasure to talk with, sharing stories and enjoying the moment. I'm happy to see it's continuing on in true fashion. Thank you!”

“The Munson Farm farm stand is a magical place. Just went for some late summer / early fall bounty and got freshy fresh corn, a few kinds of squash, a couple of pumpkins, and fresh cut flowers, too — they handed me scissors and let me cut them myself. A gem of a place!”

“Cute farm with lots of pumpkin options on and off the vine with fun themed scarecrows scattered throughout the patch. We left with a great pumpkin carving pumpkin and produce for dinner all for a great price!”
