Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Such a great experience! We went shortly after they opened on Sunday. It was $8 for a 1/4 peck bag and that got you into the orchard, plus you got to keep all the apples you could fit in the bag. They gave a great demonstration to our toddler on how to pick an apple. We were able to bring our stroller with and the slopes down into and up out of the orchard weren’t too bad with the stroller! They had a little setup with chairs, a bunch of boxes and photo frames for a cute photo op, and a face cut-out for pics. Plus it was super easy to get in and out, after we chilled at the playground for a bit. We will definitely be back. Thanks for bringing this experience to the community!!”

“We had the best time picking apples at this newly opened orchard. The apples are absolutely delicious, the orchard is very well maintained and easy to navigate with small children, and the trees are beautiful with so much fruit on them. The employees were also so nice and helped make the experience great. I love that it is a smaller place - not as crowded or picked over as some of the bigger places around. It is the perfect size for an enjoyable experience. I hope they keep opening their orchard for self pick because this will be our go-to for years to come!”

“This is such a beautiful apple orchard! Rows of apple trees filled with the most delicious honey crisp apples, quiet farm fields behind it, and the kindest staff helping to teach my kids about apples. It really is a hidden gem. There's free parking in the lot at Pop's marketplace and walk behind Pop's to get to the orchard/pay at the stand. It's very reasonably priced. We will return again. Highly recommended.”

“Highly recommend! We had a blast there today. Our toddler got an apple picking demonstration, we were able to take our stroller into the orchard, and we picked some delicious honeycrisp apples. Everyone was so kind and willing to help us have a great experience. So glad y’all opened up!!”

“Why package apples by the peck, then price them by the pound? No prices on the baked goods, either. Employees were all chatting with the other customer and we would have had to interrupt them to ask how much (nearly) everything was. We gave up.”
