Noble Berry Farm

“Last year I set a goal of sourcing at least 70% of my food + drink from people (farmers, fishers, mushroom growers, cheesemakers, etc) I knew. Noble Berry Farm helps me achieve that goal! FYI: berry picking season begins around June and ends around September, owner Dave says the exact harvest times change every year, so if you are unsure, he welcomes you to call! This is a well organized, accessible operation, and Dave is gregarious and friendly. Lots of parking in a grassy parking lot. Upcycled Folgers coffee containers have handles on them for visitors to use while picking. When you’re done, Dave will walk you over to the scales where he accepts both cash, credit card, and Apple Pay. Prices are less than what you would pay for blueberries 🫐 sold in a supermarket, encased in plastic, with unknown picking and expiration dates. Follow their Facebook Page so you receive notifications for each 🫐open season.”

“This is wonderful place to experience blueberry picking! Berries are priced by the pound. You will be walking on grass paths. Shoes are a good idea. It can be hot, so sunscreen, hats and water are important. The fields are open and easy to social distance in. I bought some just to eat but many people there when I visited were picking to make jam.”
