“We’re new to the Chevy Chase area and Norma’s Market is such a lovely little gem. It’s a colorful roadside spot with a great variety of fruits, vegetables, jams, teas, cheeses, dips, and a lot more. Everything seems to be perfectly in season. Right now they've got peaches, watermelon, and corn, and the place is always packed with community support. The workers are so kind and always smiling, which makes the whole vibe really warm and welcoming. They even have dog snacks, I grabbed some for my pup and she loves them! One thing that really surprised me was seeing yerba mate, which is a Guaraní tea from my culture. I was so happy to find it here, and the quality is excellent. I forgot to ask where they source it from, but I’ll definitely ask next time because I’ll for sure be back. It’s also just a short, beautiful walk away, which makes it even better.”

“First time at Norma's. I was on my Sunday ride from DC to Maryland when I stopped to get water, then I saw the cherry's and apricots. All the fruits looked very fresh and tasted incredibly good. Freshness that I had only found at fruit markets in Europe. If you want to know more about my Titanium Road Bike, check Insta @muratibicycles. The bicycle will be available for purchase soon. DM for details.”

“Norman's is the best farm market in the Upper NW DC Chevy Chase area. The produce is plentiful and fresh and delicious. Also, the prepared foods are unique and regional. Normans may not be the cheapest in town, but the quality is worth it and I know I'm supporting local farms. Check them out!”

“Their produce is usually excellent. Especially when the local corn & tomatoes become available. Right now their cantaloupes & watermelon are superb. They will help pick out the ripe ones for you. Blueberries are also excellent but everything is seasonal so go weekly!”

“They donate extra veggies for distribution by local churches and nonprofits. Worth supporting just for that and their fresh produce is excellent!”

“Decent produce and lovely flowers. Nice people. Convenient. However, their prices are even higher than my neighborhood Sunday farmer's market also selling locally grown from MD and VA. Higher prices than Whole Foods locally grown produce and it's not even organic. That doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe they offer better deals to their CSA members?”

“I've been going to this place for years and buying peaches. Usually I get their biggest carton box which is around $25. Last weekend I got it again and we weren't able to eat any of them! We were cutting one by one and they tasted like previously frozen, the ones you get in grocery stores that taste nothing, have odd texture and color. Very disappointed.”

“Been buying fresh killed turkeys from here for TG for more than 10 years. They are pricey for 12-14 lb bird. This year will be my last year buying from Norman's. I wanted a bird closer to 14 lbs than 12 lbs. None of the turkeys available were more than 12.3 lbs! It's a bait and switch since you are paying for 14 lbs!”
