“AMAZING experience. We were waited on by the owners, or previous owners as they had mentioned they just sold but we're staying on to help transition the new owners. I am a dry red drinker, and they did only have one dry red at this time, it was a blend but still VERY good. I also love a good port, they had 3 available and one that they let us taste out of the barrel. I ended up getting a bottle of all the ports they had available and the dry red. They have an ice wine there that was phenomenal I ended up buying a bottle of as well. Customer service was amazing, the facility was clean and in a cool location with views of the mountains in the back. They do a wine and chocolate pairing flight with the local chocolate company Manoa. They have cold water available and I was able to fill my water bottle up a few times during our visit. Would definitely visit again.”

“I've been coming here on and off for the past couple of years, and it's hands down the best winery I've ever been to. I've introduced several of my friends to it, and they now come here to buy wine as well. The customer service is absolutely amazing. Chris and the rest of the team are fantastic and always provide excellent service. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and the wine never disappoints. They also have so many unique flavors to choose from that there's always something new to try. I haven't had the chance to try them all yet, but so far, the Pineapple and Coconut is my absolute favorite! 😍🍍🥥🍷 Thank you all so much for the wonderful experiences! I truly appreciate everything you do and will definitely be back soon!”

“Our visit to Oeno Winemaking was enjoyable and memorable. The process of learning about winemaking, tasting the selections, and seeing how wines are crafted was both educational and fun. It’s a family-friendly experience for older kids and adults who can appreciate learning about wine and local craftsmanship. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the visit even more enjoyable.”

“I went because I was traveling with a cousin that loves wine; very glad I did. Tony was an amazing host and we spent over two hours enjoying the tasting and hospitality. Don’t expect a big tour (but they will show you a round). You can buy art off the walls, enjoy sourdough bread with cheese, homemade garlic butter or tomato and cheese and they will ship wines.”

“We come from California so at first we were not sure what to expect when we showed up. We sat for as long as we could trying all of their wines. We absolutely love every single one! I will definitely be the one to pay the high shipping prices to keep these bottles in my home! I love them sooo much!!!”

“This establishment came recommended from my mom who lives on the island. After looking online for some more information on the winery, I came across their advertised tour and tasting for $32pp and purchased the reservation for the following afternoon. Oeno Winemaking is tucked into an industrial area just off the exit into Kailua. With that being said, it's not the most picturesque part of the island, nor would I say it's designed for consumers to easily visit. Parking is a concern as Oeno did not have any reserved spaces for it's customers. Therefore, I had to park a little bit away and needed to ensure that I would not be towed for parking in another business's spaces. Regarding the tasting and tour itself, I was the only person there during the scheduled time. The place itself is a section of the shared warehouse. There is no vineyard, so all grapes are imported from elsewhere. They do, however, have several fruit wines using foodstuff procured from the islands. Despite purchasing a tour and tasting, there was no tour, which I consider to be rather deceptive. The tasting consisted of 6 pours from the the attached list. Of those, I tried several with varying experiences. The best 3, in my opinion, were Watermelon Lavender, "Bass" Akwards, and Orange Chocolate with the last being the best of the bunch due to a near perfect combination of sweet and savory with a warmness provided by the brandy. Despite the disappointment with the lack of a tour, service provided by Tom was superb. He was pleasant to talk to and was able to answer the majority of my questions while we watched a portion of the World Cup game. I recommend to Oeno Winemaking to clarify what exactly people are paying for with the tour and tasting reservation considering the tour actually wasn't performed. I'd adjust the pricing to reflect such changes. Worth checking out? Sure. Could've been better? Absolutely.”
