Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Kansas.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Steven and has crew really make going to the pumpkin patch a joyful experience. They have tons to do such a barrel train ride, tractor ride, bounce house, fishing, slides and more. They even have a beer garden. If your kids leave there tired you didn't try hard enough. I suggest planning on being there most of the day.”

“Prices are pretty steep. $12 for admission or $15 for a band that includes admission plus unlimited rides and jump pillow!! Season pass prices would be best for somebody that lives nearby (not our case) we enjoy the $5 affordable family price at other places so we can experience all for the few years that children are small.”
