“A unique farmers market experience! Everything looked local, fresh, and decently priced. All the market goers were there to support the vendors! Not sure how to explain it but this farmers market is worlds better than the markets in Florida. A lot of the Florida ones are overrun with chain vendors that pop out of nowhere, the same bagged dips mixed with cream cheese, and bread that is stale the same night. Not to mention majority of items are overpriced. The token system some vendors utilize here is very convenient. I bought honey mustards, honey drink, fresh pastries, and sourdough cookies. Loved the unique vendors like the variety smoking wood vendor and goat cheese sorbet market vendor. Market is packed with people but moves along fairly well. Even long lines do not take too long.”

“Omaha Farmers Market in Old Market downtown had a great variety of quality booths with really good artists, food to eat, fresh vegetables, lovely flowers, soaps, quality art and crafts! Went on a gorgeous sunny October Saturday, the crowd had a pleasant vibe, live music playing (good buskers), and the surrounding beautiful old brick buildings were splendid. Honestly, I’ve been to so many farmers markets across the country from east coast to west coast, and the end this was one of the best. The quality of the products was great! Didn’t see any tacky booths. Saw at least three stands that had the freshest most beautiful bok choi I’ve seen -can’t even get bok choi that good at Whole Foods, lol.”

“First farmers market(s) of 2020 were certainly different from years past, but it did not change anyone’s spirit! We grabbed some organic garlic and asparagus (look at the size!!😯). I look forward to going each week and seeing how many vendors come out. I would highly recommend you give the farmers market a try, if you have never been! By far a better value than any grocery store.”

“The Saturday market is somehow a lot smaller than I remembered but I'm glad I visited. I appreciated the one hour of free parking right across the street, and the highlight of my visit was getting a poem about my cats written by Aria. 🐾”
