OLP Pumpkin Patch

“What an absolute blast this was! Such a lovely pumpkin patch right here in south Minneapolis and there are so many unique pumpkins and gourds. The kids loved the scavenger hunt and goodie bag, along with the hay bail trail to run along. Sensory tables filled with corn and a slide for the little ones. A lot has been canceled this year and we are so thankful to have the opportunity to do something that feels like a little piece of normal.”

“This was an extremely horrible experience as myself and my 2 & 4 yr old walk out of the church from using the restroom a older white man decided to stop my 4yr old and tell her she needed to be quiet it’s a church mind you she was not yelling or talking especially not loud, he continuously told us we needed to stop talking and being loud in a very disrespectful manner this was supposed to be a fun outing to get pumpkins for my kiddos but instead turned into a racist encounter”
