Orchard Gardens Neighborhood Farm & Community Garden

“Unprofessional, discriminatory gatekeeping by Farm Director Liam Cody. Being publicly singled out and outright refused the right to purchase a single bag of spinach as a tax-credit housing tenant—under the absurd and hypocritical pretense of "not enough food for everybody else," while an organization of this scale donates tens of thousands of pounds to the food bank—is shameful, embarrassing, unprofessional, and deeply infuriating. This occurred while standing in line in front of a former neighbor and community member who was as shocked by the hostility as I was. When management was confronted with this blatant lack of professionalism regarding equity discounts and treatment, they hid behind a cowardly, AI-generated form response rather than taking accountability. A community organization preaching altruism while treating vulnerable community members with active disrespect is profoundly hypocritical. I will never patronize this farm stand again.”
